Supervisor at work caught this on his trail cam

My supervisor is a huge outdoors person, and hunt a lot so he sets up trail cams to pick up activity on his property. The other day maybe 2 weeks ago he showed me the raw photos of something crazy he caught on his trail cam. It looks like an orb to me, but I'm no expert.

Him, and his wife both think it is his dad sending him a message. When he first showed me I got legit chills, but that could be just because I was seeing it on a phone and was very small. His wife made him this to print and frame. I asked him to send me each individual picture, but he couldn't be bothered lol.

Let me know what you guys think. He said it stayed around for 20 minutes. The photos just kept coming for 20 minutes.

I would like to add I know insects are attracted to infrared light, and can set off trail cams, but I would think if it were a bug we would at least be able to see what kind or at least a shape in at least one picture. Also when one bug is around there are usually many.

But- you are going to get pummeled, of course. That could be a headlight, a spotlight, etc.

I would agree, but it shows up in front of the trees, and in the black besides the trees.

His father passed away and is an avid hunter as well, and every year around this time they get strange stuff that happens. That is what he told me at least. His brother took a picture of his just washed truck, and by the back tire there is a strange fog and it has a face in it. I will see if I can get him to send it to me.

Ask your friend if his family has had any other sightings of odd things such as Bigfoot. I only bring this up because of all the orb and Bigfoot reports that go hand in hand. Of course only if you are comfortable asking him such a question.

Maybe his answer will surprise you.

What is the time laps on the video? Dust partials and even bugs can be seen as just round objects up close in a camera. Most trail cameras are not high quality, so not poking at the OP in anyway just saying.

Min Min lights: Is there a scientific explanation for the mysterious phenomenon?

in Australia there have been lots of reports of lights in the night sky, the Min Min lights. Lots of theories of what it all about. In Aboriginal culture they are the spirits of the elders that look after the land. In some videos of crop circle formations, there is a ball of light hovering above the land as the pattern quickly forms.

The truth is out there...

Cool. They used to call these Fairies in Europe:

A fairy is a type of mythical being or legendary creature found in the folklore of multiple European cultures, a form of spirit, often described as metaphysical, supernatural, or preternatural.

Who knows what they really are, some kind of life form?

Strange lights. That's about as much as anyone can say.

I don't think that was a light in the OP, it looks like a night camera.

It does not look like an out of focus bug flying around with a consistent shape to the object across multiple shots. It does look like some kind of independent energy source buzzing around the air. Hard to say exactly what it is with black and white, night vision. It does look like an interesting mystery.

Another term is Will o' wisp. These types of threads are in such a short supply these days. So glad I came to check it out.Thank you OP for sharing this.

I used to build trail camera before they became popular.
I have probably gone through about 50 different models over the years and have gotten lots of similar pictures at night over the years. It is most likely debris of some sort blowing in the wind, or a bug, or pollen, etc.
IR light reflecting back causes a halo of sorts.

Anyway, these balls of light or "orbs" are definitely a thing. I've seen them up close on two different occasions.
