GOP Michigan Canvasser and her family threatened to certify out of balance election results

A Wayne County Michigan canvasser claim that she and her family was threatened by the other board members when she refused to certify the results due to out of balance errors she found - even the legal council said she did not have discretion to refuse. They said she was not allowed to refuse, called her a racist for not certifying, and even said that they knew where her daughter went to school and threatened to disclose her daughter´s school and identity on social media. Just what has the US become, I wonder, when I hear these things. Very sad and upsetting - imo this women is a true hero.

What is you opinion? How many canvassers have certified under peer pressure due to this kind of bullying?

Probably about the same as the rest of the election officials that have been getting threatened since election night. No posts about those on ATS though (aside from the two I made the other day that went 100% ignored)

Noting that Powell has now baselessly accused Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp of taking bribes from Dominion and being part of an international conspiracy, Christie went on to note that Powell has flatly refused to show any evidence or proof to back up her wild claims.

“This is outrageous by any lawyer and notice, George, they won't do it inside the courtroom,” he stated. “They allege fraud outside the courtroom, but when they go inside the courtroom, they don't plead fraud and they don't argue fraud.”

Inside a courtroom, they get quiet cause a judge will hammer you going with the crazy conspiracy theories with no evidence.

Please. Because courts/judges/attorneys aren't just as corrupt and/or corruptible as anyone else? Of course they are.

There is more than enough reasonable cause for suspicion. There is evidence for anyone willing to see and hear. And there is a coordinated and concerted effort to keep the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth unknown.

Make whatever excuses and rationalizations you so choose... but we both know that anyone who wants any less than the WHOLE TRUTH is part of the problem. And the longer it goes on, the more entrenched it becomes, the more violent the threats are, the more credible the election fraud claims.

Desperate people do desperate things...

This actually came out locally/in-state up here a few days ago, I could have sworn I saw a post about it on here around the same time (Drucifer's?)

Suffice it to say most folks up here find those tactics disgusting & indefensible, and the left leaners are NOT doing themselves any favors by staying mum/playing deaf, dumb & blind -- public trust in the Dem party as a whole was already eroded, the canvasser threats knocked a bunch more trust straight down the toilet.

To paraphrase a comment -- "Nothing says "We didn't do anything wrong!" like threatening the folks certifying ballots, eh?"

What surprises me is that people are surprised by business as usual. How many times have we seen that one holdout on a vote that suddenly flips at the last minute? How many people scratched their heads when a supreme court justice ruled that a tax is not a tax is not a fee is not a tax?

How horrible of you for not creating a thread about this. Although many of these claims have a habit of being debunked or never happened in the first place. Most of the links you posted are by partisan left wing companies in business to sell stories to further their brands. If It isn't coming from the victims mouth than its hard to believe folks that have demonstrated a willingness to commit fraud by lying about stories to stoke up the less intelligent of the left.

Not one of your links contain a testimony from the victim. The forbes link is 404'd and the nytimes one isn't a story of threats of violence. The Reuters put a video of blm members attempting to set fires in new york while talking about violence threatened in Phoenix. Perhaps getting more credible sources these stories would hold more weight here on ATS.
