So Eddie Van Halen has passed away. An inspiration to true musicians and then me. Yes there were faults but lets not Forget the big picture of true art.

Cancer sucks.

This video has been striking a chord with many of musicians.

Wolfgang sang
Played guitar
Bass
Drums
Pick an instrument. He played them all for this. For his dad. God damn I'm absolutely in tears replaying this.
I now realise what the Beatles fans are talking about. G'zus!

Maybe a little nickel backish...
But being hard of hearing, I heard his heart, and all the instruments he played. He solo'd this.

I'm logging off and setting this on LOOP😏

D@mn!

That was pretty good just as an expression of emotions. I hear Tool with a “boring” Nickelback chord progression. But the lyrics are the focus and Tool. No rhyming. And the rest of the instruments sound good!

Here is a good story to read...

Ultimaterock.com - The Day Wolfgang Van Halen Learned His Dad Was Famous: Interview.

Those two are devastating.

We all heard that bit

Thanks for that post. Saw that kid run on stage when sammy was still in the band. Honestly didn't think he'd put up with the rock star mentality, but jeezus he's good.

Still in tears as the son loves his dad.😢

Yeah, 2020 sucks.

And here come the social distance dinner and no job. Just because that kind of worked before. No review of how it works now.

The rules are keeping spreading from happening but blame a virus and send us to solitary confinement.

Music keeps us grounded.

Especially since we are sharing a collective experience.

I feel your pain, Gortex!

Keep your spirits up over these holidays!

Very true.

Music keeps us grounded.

Spirits are still high here.

Yes Gortex..
Feel that one too if you're talking the Arecibo Observatory. Double whammy and I hope someone will rebuild.

Very cool..thanks.

He has his own voice for sure. I'm amazed and humbled by multi instrumentalists.

Eddie leaving us was a real bummer.
