Hi friends!

I hope you are having a good day. If not, perhaps a bit of music therapy might help?
New generations rediscovered Fleetwood Mac when a recent video of a man riding his long board (? I think) to work, chillin, drinking OJ, and listening to "Dreams" went viral.
This is a very good thing. Stevie's voice is bewitching and out of this world. Her songwriting talent is extraordinary.
Thought I'd post my all time favorite Fleetwood Mac song, Sara.
Truly, songwriting and production doesn't get much better than this, imo.
Stevie Nicks singing live is just mesmerizing

The studio, polished cut

Who are some of your favorite songwriters? Feel free to post whatever moves you on here

Bloodletting is still one of my favorite albums.

This song by Suzanne Vega hearkens back to the days of the ballad

Not my favorite type of music (kind of Indigo Girl-y) I guess but the lyrics really make one think. Very well written.

Cheers! Beautiful song, beautiful Stevie Nicks whom I love and a Fantastic band!

I last saw Fleetwood Mac at Wembley Stadium in 1990 during their Behind The Mask Tour.

I've always been partial to The Chain. I love motor racing and the song was the FIA Formula 1 title music... Heavenly when two worlds you love meet.

Anyway, here's The Chain from 1979.

Suzanne Vega had that song "Luca". That was a tearjerker. What a sad song!

OK...one more:

Fleetwood Mac has done some great stuff. The OPs choice was on my turntable when I lived in Birmingham - good times.

Well, women singer and songwriters. There are many, even if you exclude the commercial crap. I could post a great number, but these two come to mind.

Here's a few more great female singer/songwriters

The song you posted reminded me of Sylvan Esso, (don't know why I get the associations I do
)

Thanks for posting!

Yes to Lucinda!!

One of my very best friends and travel buddies played this when we were driving through Cali wine country and then up into the redwoods.
She lives in AK, and we met in Cali as a middle ground.
Good times

When I was a kid, a nearby restaurant had that song on the jukebox. It was quite popular.
