Michigan state Rep. Matt Maddock (R) said on Sunday that he and a “growing list of Michigan Legislators” will work to impeach Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D).

"Today, myself and a growing list of Michigan Legislators have decided that @GovWhitmer has crossed the line and will be calling for #ImpeachWhitmer hearings," Maddock tweeted. "The list of violations is long and the call is overdue."

The move to impeach Hitlerette seems to have picked up steam with her new draconian measures for "fighting" covid and Scott Atlas's call for Michigander's to "rise up". The list of violations Maddock refers to is...
Violated constitutional rights
Ignored due process and legislature
Ignored court orders
Weaponized contact tracing databases to aid democratic campaigns
and...
causing the unnecessary deaths of thousands of Michigan's elderly.

Does the GOP majority have the votes to get it done? I guess we'll see in the near future. Personally, I think Hitlerette is a prime example of at least some of what's wrong with this country. She could care less about Michigan or it's people, and I'm guessing she's never read the constitution of her state, let alone the United States. She's drunk on power and that's all that matters.

Gov Sisolak of Nevada looks at her and winces at her brazen tyranny. I'm amazed that articles of impeachment had not already been drawn up on her.

Good luck to the people of Michigan.

I think it’s important to set a standard right now, before the Biden administration takes hold, that you can’t go full retard against your state. I’m all for protective measures, but everything I’ve read about Whitmer is so over the top that I don’t see it as protective.

I’m curious what the left-leaning citizens of Michigan are saying in regards to this all. They all can’t be for it. While I understand plenty of people allow their party to dominate their headspace, this has just been too much and I can’t imagine she has full support from her constituents with all of this.

Maddock does say it's long overdue in a twitter post.

Today, myself and a growing list of Michigan Legislators have decided that @GovWhitmer has crossed the line and will be calling for #ImpeachWhitmer hearings. The list of violations is long and the call is overdue.

Shouldn't Jack Dorky of twitter be censoring this? She is a democratic governor.

Maybe, just maybe there is hope for the nation if they succeed and Whitmer is thrown out of office for her oppressive totalitarian dictator style rule of her state.

Whitmer is a prime example of where the Democratic Party is headed, sadly. Like China, Russia, and Cuba, ruling with an iron fist and no compassion for it's citizens.

Biden's COVID czar has already said the rest of the world must get the vaccine before all US citizens can get it. He is also recommending a strict and very harsh nationwide 4-6 week lockdown.

She must be one pissed off mother...I just received one of her Emergency Alert messages on my phone, complete with loud siren noise. Rubbing her mandates in our faces, because she can.

Shirkey does not support an impeachment inquiry, telling Bridge it would amount to “an exercise in frictional loss.” Even if Republicans in the Michigan House were to approve articles of impeachment, Senate Republicans would not have the supermajority needed to convict.  “I don’t think it’s got the legs necessary, and frankly, I think it's a distraction from what we should be working on now,” Shirkey said. “I understand why people feel that way. I vigorously and vehemently disagree with many of the actions our governor has taken over these last few months, but I think that our energy would be better spent on other things besides that.”

Ohhh “waste time”..... you mean like the last 4 years of “leading by example”? I can’t stand these hypocrites

Of course she’s continuing the lockdowns. It ensures that she always gets the restaurant reservations and hair stylist appointments, whenever she wants them.

The lockdowns don’t apply to those imposing them.

Yeah, I thought she got in trouble last time, for using the emergency alert for her BS, so why is she doing it again?

Oh yeah, she doesn't care, she thinks she is untouchable.

@ Sookie: And as far as the Recall petition, It is still going on. It has ridiculous rules, like 1 million signatures, but 8 or 9 were approved, and the groups are joining together, so hopefully.

I mentioned it on fb and one of her apologists made a "what if you have been under a rock for a few days" post...finally a lib admits to living under a rock. I believe the usage intent when researched is to use it in a moment of immanent danger such as a flash flood, tornado, chem spill, amber alert...asteroid... Not a family Thanksgiving gathering!

Yep, I was in a work meeting and everyone's phones including mine went off. She's abusing that system as well, it's not like no one knew it was coming.

Hence the accusation of ignoring court orders, which seems to be happening a lot this year. Governors and other politicians defying court orders and nothing happens to them. It used to be court orders were enforceable by Sheriff's and Marshall's, I guess that's not the case any more. At least not if you're one of the "special" people.

No, it is not being a special person, it is if you are a Democrat or voted for a Democrat.

Democrats can freely break the law and flout court orders and nothing will happen to them.

We saw this in the endless riots/looting/violence/terrorism

We see this with Whitmer and other Democratic Governors

We saw this with Hillary and the DNC paying to fake the entire Russian collusion fiasco

Democrats don't have to obey the law, ever, they are immune from prosecution as long as they tow the Democratic Party line and worship at the feet of socialism.

We have all figured this out by now. Just claim whatever you are doing is part of Democratic Party ideology or morals of the day or what Democratic elite politicians say is best for the peon masses - and viola - you can commit crimes freely.
