Boris Johnson self-isolating after MP tests positive for Covid-19 - Again?

The prime minister said he was contacted by NHS Test and Trace on Sunday but is not showing symptoms.

Mr Johnson on Thursday spent about 35 minutes with Ashfield MP Lee Anderson who has since tested positive.

The news came as No 10 said Mr Johnson would make "critical announcements" about coronavirus and "levelling up" the UK over the coming weeks.

If he has it again, there goes the hope of a vaccine saving us.

Why would they have him self-isolate if you can't get it again.

Maybe it will work if you take four shots a year $$$.

Out of 45 million worldwide cases, only a couple dozen are possible re-infections.

Boris Johnson must really enjoy working from home, lol.

Regardless if you have had it they require you to self isolate if exposed again.

From what I have seen, there are cases of people becoming reinfected by they are rare and the research is still unclear how often this happens or how.

So for Bo-Jo I would think it would be unlikely he gets it again but he needs to be seen to follow the rules like the rest of us.

From what I have read they are not sure it is a reinfection.

The virus could hide in the body and then reappear. There are other viruses that do that.

I think this might be part of the next wave fear mongering to suppress the masses.

This news does not surprise me. If you look at footage of him, he has looked very unwell ever since he was first diagnosed.

Sars-CoV 2, like HIV may stay in the body, undetected for a long while.

I remember watching footage from Wuhan back in Jan through to March. Many people were in hospital or quarantine locations for several months. They were constantly swabbed until eventually being given the all clear and allowed to return home.

... and this is why you dont listen to internet experts tha insist on herd immunity working or having a "covid party" to get infected ( bring your chillens too) so youre now immune. The data was out there from the start that it WAS airborne, it WAS capable of reinfecting people due to the body not retaining antibodies for this virus like it does with others, and it WAS mor ethan just a death rate to whine about online. It can cause long term damage to multiple organs and DOESNT only kill off old people.

But hey.. Im all for the covid parties. Ya'll have em. Deny the real science behind this virus and be so focused on the arguments that you dont notice when its also being used to destroy our economy and will cause the collapse of our healthcare systems because some WANT it to collapse.

I think he just wants a few days off out of the public eye.
His administration is in ruins and he's an absolute laughing stock.

I think no country is actually using below 30 cycles. They use so high cycle that it gives CASES which they need to keep up the lockdowns.

So I keep hearing, yet the the majority have recovered just fine, like from regular flu, some people didn’t even know they had it. These asymtomatic cases... how can that be? These people with so called long covid, sounds more like ME to me.
