Research Shows Google "Vote" Reminders Went Only to Liberals, Senate to Investigate

New research by Robert Epstein of the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology has discovered that the search engine only posted "Vote!" reminders to users who their algorithms determined, based on browsing history, would be more likely to vote Democrat. Now the Senate is set to investigate.

Utah Sen. Mike Lee is questioning whether Google’s top executive lied to Congress because of new reports that it sent out voting reminders just to customers whom it had profiled as liberals.

Lee said that if that is true, it would show that Google CEO Sundar Pichai lied to Congress recently when he said his company would not do any work “to politically tilt anything one way or the other.”

That comes after Robert Epstein, a research psychologist with the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology, told Johnson that his group found evidence that Google was sending voting reminders only to liberals.

Epstein said he had recruited a politically diverse group of 733 field agents in Arizona, Florida, and North Carolina. Between Oct. 26 and 29, Epstein said they found “only our liberal field agents received vote reminders on Google’s home page.”

The Senate had the CEO of Google testify before them 2 weeks ago about squashing free speech. Sundar Pichai scared the daylights out of all of them (but Ted Cruz), and flew back to his mansion laughing.

They look at your cookies.

If you've looked up avocado toast recipes, best lactose free "milks" or furry porn, they jot you down as a lib.

If you've been looking up truck nuts (truck flag poles too), Carhartt merch, or cell phone belt clips, you get omitted from the reminder to vote.

For most people they would know how they are most Likely to vote based on your internet activity, social network activity, purchases, likes, dislikes, ads that peak your interest etc ...

And even if you are extremely secretive, they could extrapolate a profile based on your friends / family who are not so web savvy.

The Senate doesn’t need to investigate it. They know it’s true, and most of them are in on it.

These crooked clowns need to actually do something instead of endless “investigations” which result in NOTHING of value to the people they are pretending to represent.

Did you have your smart phone within your vicinity at the precise time you voted?

I am of the opinion we will only have justice in the world when tech oligarchs are thrown to the lions for sport.

alright, you should be ashamed of yourself for doing this, as should I for asking, but WTF is "furry porn"?
And yes, this will likely fall into the "don't ask the question unless you are ready to hear the answer" category.

Just go look it up. You'll laugh, feel disgust, question why we're here, and be put in Google's good graces all at the same time.

And if you get excited you'll learn you got your political affiliation wrong.

Ok....first pick your favouritest anthropomorphic animal cartoon character, now combine that with the second part of 'furry porn' and you have your answer.

OK, I haven't googled this, and I'm not sure this is a list I want to be on. But the fact that ya'll know what this is scares me a little.
