I was driving to work today and half listening to fox sports radio...
ESPN had gotten so political over the last few years so I haven't listened to them for over a year and current political radio is enough to make me puke.
Music sucks today...ugh...w.a.p.? Really?

So anyways... Background noise.
I haven't watched a football or basketball game this year but it's had to avoid sports completely much like politics.
Now the story goes that Notre Dame won a big game on Saturday and the biggest no no is that the students stormed the field in celebration.
Apparently 2 thousand kids in the stands was fine but on the field was bad... Whatever.

This action by the students was criticized by sports reporters in the press boxes...
Here's the kicker..
According to the radio host, many of these reporters were totally against the season being played at all.

Imagine that. Reporters who thought covid was to dangerous to play a season traveled across the country to report on a live game when they could have stayed home and watched on tv like the rest of the fans... Then they complain about the students....

The funny part is that the radio host actually called them out and his guest agreed.

Too funny..

CFB is the only sport I watch anymore, and im a hugeND fan, the irony is the ND student government wanted Father Jenkins (ND President) fired for not wearing a mask at ACB's ceremony.

I love how the BIg 10 finally decide they might be able to play some football after all and then all the teams are sidelining for COVID.

Meanwhile, the Big 12 and SEC are chugging along and no one has died. If players are testing positive, they simply sit out and bench the ones with close contact and roll on. Football teams are big enough to do that, you know ...

I lost all respect for sports many moons ago. When I went to take my kids to a baseball game with my wife and it cost me 250 dollars all together (and this was 15 years ago), I thought, screw this and screw these people.

A celebration was premature anyway. Once they count the mail in points, Notre Dame will probably lose.
