Probably just be easier to sell the stock here, move and then get some more stock, rather than trying to move all this stock. Heck, at the rate prices are going, I might just give them away. Costs me way more to feed them than we make on them.

Oh, I'll still have stock, that much is a given. It's what I know. Just might have a smaller operation, just for us and a few close friends.

I really like these cows though, and I don't want to get rid of the breed. Where I'm going they are a lot more difficult to find, and trucking cows over long distances is tough.

ETA - Off topic, but what I really wish I could get into (or out of) is the cow-calf thing, for the steer thing. Running all steers would be so much easier and stress free. The cow-calf thing is constant worry for about 6 months out of the year. Steers and feeders are so much easier, and the numbers are better, but up where we're going it's a lot of angus (and I don't like Angus...long story), but if I could find some Herford stock, I'd be all in on that! Herford cow-calf operations are plenty, but Herford bulls and their wimmin's are hard, and dangerous, to deal with. Old men don't need to be dealing with dangerous bulls, hence my steer only operation. Right now we deal with bulls, but they're pretty good boys for the most part, but that's why I like the breed.

Sorry for the digression, everyone. I'll go back on topic now. (for what it's worth, my digression may give some an insight into why my political feelings are the way they are!)

Anyway, back to the topic.

Lines are being drawn in the sand.. There's a mass exodus of fb peeps over to parler as I type, at least in my circle. It's fun to watch.

Since a conventional world war in the modern era will lead to nuclear annihilation, there is a new more complex strategy, influencing the future with modern technology and influencing the archaic minds of men and women in control of our country.

There will be no civil war, hell in a way we have been in a civil war since April, since the riots started a one sided one. It takes two sides to fight.

I've been really trying this whole pandemic to get covid. Like as much as I can. I've avoided following any covid ordinance. I figure i'll just take my chances building some natural immunity, but no matter how hard I try, I just can't catch covid. I've finally broken down and bought the cheapest dollar store bandana I can buy so I can provide food for my cat and dog. The pet store after several months and no increase in cases in town decided masks were mandatory because of some reopening Ontario act...I live in British Columbia, so no idea how that's applicable, but well, I guess I've got my $1.25, nearly transparent piece of threadbare cloth that makes me and others around me immune from covid so my pets can eat. I can hold it up to light and see through it completely, but yeah...that's going to stop some microscopic virus particles and make it safe for me to enter the pet store.

Interestingly, I had it, the covid, (I'm pretty sure). I was a wreck for about two weeks, and felt lower than a smushed worm under a ton of bricks. It was actually pretty rough. I was / am 'high risk' I guess, but I didn't die. I honestly thought at one point I needed to go to the hospital, even joked with my wife if I didn't feel better in the next day or so I would.

This was before the whole pandemic thing went nuts, back in early December '19. It wasn't pleasant, and it laid me out for a bit, but I didn't die. I won't lie though, I was pretty sick.

I do believe The covid is real, but I don't believe it's anything worse than a bad flu, or serious cold. I honestly believe the democrats have invented "The" covid as the plague to scare people, lock down the economy, and shut down the elections.

"The" covid "crisis" is just a political tool, nothing more. If you can survive the flu, you can survive "the" covid. It's all just BS, and political.

Have people died from it? Sure they have, but people die from the flu, young and old, every single flu season! No argument.

Anyway, that was my experience. So now when things get locked down, even harder, now...we'll all know why! It's not about a virus, and it's all about stomping YOU into submission!!

We had something back in January that seemed to fit all the listed symptoms.

And then I had a mild cold just a few weeks ago that made us stay in for a few days until we were sure I wasn't spreading anything or getting any worse and my fever was long gone.

Those are the only possible COVIDs we may have had.

The numbers in our area show we are well past the first and second spikes here.

I'm technically an ACTUAL Liberal.

I believe in a limited Federal government, keeping the State government out of my bedroom, Pro-choice and Pro-gay rights and all for lower taxes.

I think weed should be legalized and every other drug as well.

I am Pro-1A, Pro-2A and it would be nice if the 10th Amendment worked like it should.
