To the men and women who laid down their lives so we may live ours in peace and security , to the fallen in wars old and new and to those who returned as shadows of their former selves , today we remember them and give thanks for their ultimate sacrifice.

'Lest we forget' indeed,

London U.K., today, Rememberance Sunday

UK Vet playing the bagpipes assaulted by police:

They're damn lucky they didn't have another Ian Tomlinson on their hands, you'd think lessons had been learnt,



There's a lot of anti-police sentiment brewing in the U.K. at the moment, but judging by the footage I'm seeing, it's their own doing.

Anyway, I wont jack the thread, I just thought that people should see this, it's not just in the US where Vets are often treated like crap, on Rememberance Sunday of all days too,




"When you go home, tell them of us and say, for their tomorrow we gave our today."
