How would Trump have Jesus on his side what with that rich man camel needle heaven story.

I saw some video in another thread where some lady was praying for him in tongues. That helps you know.

He did get a lot of the Hispanic vote...

Too bad they didn't live in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia.

There isn't enough registered in Georgia to have a huge effect anyway unless you pull 90 plus percent. Not sure about elsewhere but I'd imagine whatever percentage of those populations have been homogenized into being Democrats. Nothing wrong with it, it's just how it is.

So, point being, democrats, sorry, but don’t expect Biden to do anything remotely progressive....which shouldn’t be a huge surprise after 43 years of conservative, corporatist behavior 100% of the time.

Not worried about Biden...its his handlers I'm worried about. Do you really think Biden has any mental compacity to stand up to the far left and say NO...he will sign anything that comes across his desk from them.

And republicans, sorry, but you won’t be seeing the “socialist apocalypse “ you’ve all been doom porning for, just more of the same, largely trumpite, neoliberal Republican policies, which you will likely be tricked into calling commie pinko policies...... until your guys are doing them again.

If we keep the Senate...I agree, but boy if the left had 2 years with all the marbles you do not think they wouldn't fundamental change our Goverment not seen in 150 years?

As to the future....
My expectations are that no matter who won, we will be facing calamity. The next four years holds millions of foreclosures, bankruptcy, and evictions. This is not a lockdown or covid issue, no other nations are facing the unemployment, foreclosure or bankruptcy issues we are. It’s due to trumps policies, or lack thereof. But there’s also the subprime market collapse that is rapidly approaching, and which hasn’t been addressed or even mentioned by trump, the republicans or democrats, or Biden for that matter. Expect the 08 crisis again. Then there’s the massive debt overhang that had almost all us corporations on the line of insolvency even before covid, also not mentioned or addressed by the above. Expect the collapse of the US dollar, and at least 5% annual inflation for years into the foreseeable future, which the fed has stated it is now aiming for.

Already throwing out the Biden defense when he locks down until Hell freezes over? Can you give me one or two of Trump's policies that hurt the economy? You do not have concerns with the left's 30 to 90 trillion spending they would love to do? While keeping the country locked down... How will that be in inflation...lol

In response I expect the us will flail around with micro aggressions and wars, as it tries to hold on to its crumbling empire in the way all crumbling empires have, along with reduced freedoms and increased authoritarianism. Which will come at the same time as drastically increasing unrest from the masses about to be unhoused, bankrupt, and hopeless. As we’ve seen, the more free time Americans have, coupled with the less they have to lose equals civil unrest and mayhem.

Whatever.. Our poorest are still better off than 5+ billion other people in the world... Biden wins so what in 4 years we will vote again while Congress will have another vote in two years...Power will drift back and forth.

I disagree with the housing bubble..it is 10x harder now to get a loan than back before the time it popped. Subprime Mortgages were handed out like candy where people would only pay interest and zero on the loan. People were willing to take these loans on the bet the house value would keep going up and they would still make profit a few years later with zero principal paid.

I think these loans are nonexistent today, and we are not seeing housing prices go up at a huge rate to justify them. I just refinanced and it was a process that took about a month and I have 840 credit rating and 400k equity in my house. Back in 2003 when I bought a house I just showed my military pay stub...

I don't think loan institutions want to get burned again like they did as people just walked away from their house and loan.

If, and this is a BIG if.. if Biden is sworn in, he will have a resistance movement, that made the 4 years against Trump look like childs play.. and heaven forbid the Republican party never takes to the streets like the left did this year, because if/when they do, there will be a clear winner easily... Enjoy your brief moment.. I doubt it lasts long... Also, until Congress certifies this election, nothing is official, not even close... Media cant declare a candidate, the election commission of each state must certify and then both House and Senate need to sign off on it... Matt Gaetz needs to find one senator to join him in refusing to certify and then it goes to a audit... Also, if/when this case moves to the Supreme Court, I cant wait for the 5-4 ruling that keeps Trump as President...And lastly, remember that in 2000, Al Gore didnt concede until December 13th, and that was from one state, not a whole list of them... This is far from over..

Say the left did cheat (which we all know they did), their voter base wouldn't give two sh*ts about it... They dont care about any sanctity of the Election.. They care about Power at any cost.. They love being drunk with power, which is why they would do whatever it took to steal this election away from Trump.. Lets hope the evidence is strong enough that they corrupt swampy establishment isnt able to sweep this under the rug... If they try to, there will be 70+ million pissed off americans who will feel cheated...

Also, isnt it funny how Russia decided to sit out this election and not help Trump?? I guess Putin was locked down from Corona and couldnt put any solid plans into motion..

Why would they do that? They have careers and family to take care of....lol Who the hell would risk their career over Biden winning. I hope Biden wins and Harris replaces him in a couple of years...Harris running in 2024 will be dead in the water for her. I'll take a couple of # years to get all 3 branches of the Goverment in 2024.

You really think he's going to pander to the progressives? The DNC are already trying to blame the progressives for their underperformance even though it's pretty much thanks to the progressives' grassroots efforts that got Biden elected.

If he wants to get anything done at all he has to pander to the far left

Not if he has a repub senate. That would be the last thing he should do to get things done.

Quite a few on the right are concerned that if they dont win this election, the right will struggle to ever win another one... Especially if the left gets their way and gives citizenship to all the illegals in this country.. Not to mention, they'll have a template for cheating for future elections... I wish there could be a cheat-proof voting system to implement... I wonder what that would be. Maybe with blockchain/encryption at some point, but who knows... All i know is, this system now is PRIMED for cheating, especially with little oversight and states being able to mail out tens of millions of ballots each election cycle now...

maybe taking to the streets is a little extreme, because I believe the right is a little more dignified then the left, which showed their true colors this summer with the riots.. but if the left began pushing their BS far left agenda on the american people, via executive orders, i could see things getting ugly fast.... lets hope the right can keep the Senate if Biden is the President and they road block him for 4 years..

Biden doesn't need to pander to the left, he's got enough moderates in both houses to push through a centerist agenda. Especially if he gets some Republicans on his side.

Biden's political record is pretty clear, he's not a leftist. He was one of the most moderate candidates at the primaries. The Democrats had a chance to elect a leftist, but they decided to dump Bernie and the others and to go for somebody who was straight down the middle. So Biden would be stupid to pander to the leftists as they're not his base.

I reiterate, the Democrats chose a moderate candidate, and Ameirca voted for a moderate candidate, so Biden has no need to pander to the left. He can follow his own agenda and forget about them.

So, it appears Biden will be winning by 72 electoral votes. As I predicted, that’s not even a close election, though it may have seemed so due to the process. Now, for my next prediction, Biden will choose not a single progressive for his cabinet. In fact, I expect it will be staffed with several republicans, such as John kasich who almost beat trump last election, and will likely go on to beat Harris in the next election if he is in the cabinet. Also likely are jeff flake, Charles baker, and Charlie dent, folks who voted along with trump on 90% of issues. Strange that.

So, point being, democrats, sorry, but don’t expect Biden to do anything remotely progressive....which shouldn’t be a huge surprise after 43 years of conservative, corporatist behavior 100% of the time.

And republicans, sorry, but you won’t be seeing the “socialist apocalypse “ you’ve all been doom porning for, just more of the same, largely trumpite, neoliberal Republican policies, which you will likely be tricked into calling commie pinko policies...... until your guys are doing them again.

Expect the collapse of the US dollar, and at least 5% annual inflation for years into the foreseeable future, which the fed has stated it is now aiming for.

All these things predate trump in their making, are imminent and disastrous, and are studiously ignored by democrats and republicans alike, just as the 08 crisis was.

Enough to risk one's livelihoods in a very bad direction?

If they get the Senate too, but the left is worried that they didn't take the Senate and lost seats in the house setting up a full Republican Congress in 2022.

Especially if the left gets their way and gives citizenship to all the illegals in this country.. Not to mention, they'll have a template for cheating for future elections...

Seems like there is a big shift in Minorities... to truly worried about this...

I do because he has to keep the Bernie crowd happy. He has to realize that it wasn't a vote for him it was a vote against Trump
