It's strange how they let u get so close to the sr71 considering it is supposedly still the fastest and most advanced in the world with resect to pure speed. I thought i would throw that last pic of the staue of liberty in too lol, now we know what all these planes are for then.

I thought it was an A-12 at the Intrepid Museum. At the Pima Museum if you are tall enough you can touch one of the wings. Same for the M-21/D-21 combo at the Seatle Museum of Flight.

I was expecting pictures of myself. Phew.

It very well could be an A-12, i think it is actually i cant tell the difference between the a12 and sr71 they look the same to my untrained eyes.

It's an A-12, the A-12 was a single seater.

lol thats the same F-16 from the Nicholas Cage Movie "National Treasure" right??

The sr-71 can be touched and looked at all over the country. Theres one at the entrance to the San Diego air & space museum and I saw one at Edwards AFB. Of course everything is weded shut and everything is removed, only the shells remain. Completely gutted out.
