Thank you, Redneck. I hope and pray for the best, but I'm fearful that we will see the worst. At least in some major metro areas.

I'm not especially worried for us here in AZ. I've seen absolutely no support for Biden here. Not to say he has none, but if folks are supporting him loud and proud before the election, I seriously doubt they support him enough to riot after the election. I also want to think anyone so inclined realizes that our sheriffs and citizens will not tolerate it here.

But I'm going to fill my tank up today anyway, just to be on the safe side -- thank you for that suggestion! If we have to flee the city, we can go to my in-laws... and from there it's a stone's throw across the line to Mexico -- LOL!

For a single person, leaving town for a week would cost at least a grand if they're getting a hotel room. About 500 for the week in rates, then another 500 (at least) in pay you're missing from work, or vacation pay youre using up from another time.

If we're talking a couple, more money.... A family, more money.

This brings me to my question. How strongly do you feel about your hunch? I'll admit, even if you said 25% confident, that's still enough for some people to get away from the city for a while.

Just curious, also just putting things in perspective. We've seen some crazy stuff this year, I can't speak definitively OK what happens next.

I've told my wife multiple times to be prepared on Wednesday for the riots after a trump win.
She has passed that thought along to the big shots and so far they have not even addressed the possibly.

I assume this leak is very new, possible yesterday or even today....the news storys was writed today . It does not look good is my impression about it, but if we can read about it , i am sure the police/security agencies can also .

In either event, I find no reason to ''eat your words''. They are wise words. I also found this little tip among them.
''Fuel up the car''. I would go farther than that and suggest that anyone in a large metro area who doesn't keep that tank full all the time is out of touch. Every day on the way to work, on the way home from market, whatever, keep that tank topped off and a bug out bag in the trunk.

There are reports of leftist groups talking about targeting conservative groups and institutions they see as the enemy in DC the night of the election and wanting to storm their buildings and take them over. In this case, we're talking about PAC groups having their places stormed.

This sort of buzz has been percolating around social media channels for three to four months now, and the ANTIFA riots show a level or coordination.

So I am moderately worried that they could get up to some stuff in some places and make things really ugly. I am relying on the prevailing political attitude here where I am at that they won't be able to get very far in this area.
