So, Biden will tell congress to make a law that is going to stop Covid19? OK, how does that work?

Biden's plan is to do what Trump is already doing. Biden has no other plan.

Biden says he will work with scientist's. Not make up answers. Trump says he has things he does not.

I'm sorry. Covid isn't fake. I don't want you to watch someone die to believe that. But I hope you will believe that.

Trump is keeping hope alive. Biden is making everyone sad by all his doom and gloom.

Trump has many companies with many people working on it. Obama and Biden used up all the medical supplies in the emergency stockpile and did not refill it.

Which is better?

Now that gets my attention. F you. What the hell is wrong with you?

Didn't mean to make you mad, let me explain; You might think you're being open minded, tralalala, life is great but the fact is, people with strong morals, strength of character, consistency and who find meaning in tradition would rather not associate with those who haven't figured out what side of the fence they are on.

You know what they say: stand for something or you'll fall for anything.

BTW, do you have a dog that barks a lot

Sure, not mad.

I just don't get it.

Put on a mask. I haven't had Covid nor hope to.

Why is it such an issue?

I can't speak here.

But, I am your neighbor.

It's wildly off-topic in this thread but what potential policies of Joe's make you want to vote for him?

I don't see any potential in him other than he will listen to scientists and get covid19 under control.

Really? How? The scientists have flip-flopped on most topics from the beginning of this. He doesn't have the mental wherewithall to comprehend the difference between peanut butter and jelly anymore, do you really think he's capable of doing anything at all? How exactly will Biden get things under control? I'll tell you how - he has stated many times that he wants a national mandate for masks in public AND even outdoors in your yard when you're doing yardwork. He has stated he'll do things that are already being done. How does that help?

Odd that in the context of this thread, someone reaching out an olive branch, you say such while acting as if you have the high ground.

The left hasn't been kind to this nation, but neither has the right. There has been nothing but mistakes (for the most part) the last few decades. May I remind you the Republicans have held the highest office most of the time since the 80's.... And yet, there is no accountability by many in this country that all politicians have harmed the citizens. No, many act as if it's black and white, good vs evil, and that every downfall was inherited from the opposition. Even if that was the case, that makes the right just as at fault... If they have had the highest office for the majority of the time recently, why is it they cannot defeat the lefts' motives? Is it incompetence, weakness, or what? Either way, it's not positive traits seeing they've had the reigns more than enough times.

Looking back into the last two decades, who brought us the Iraq war? And I won't say the next guy was any better, at all... But surely the right being as morally superior as they are can at least admit they too are flawed. Let's fast forward a bit to the current president, through all of the alleged victories, is it not true that debt was increasing at record rates even before COVID? Again, there are flaws. That's not to say he hasn't done anything good, but merely a point to show he is not perfect.

Yet people will speak with such conviction that they are on a moral high horse. Catch them being honest, and they'll speak subconsciously that it's not necessarily that their side is the best, no, but rather the others are worse. The opposition will ruin this country, you have to vote for my slightly better side because it's your duty. We will be slightly less worse off. I hear it all the time.

It's tiring. It's so utterly boring that we live in 2020 with the largest wealth of information and people are so willing to be blatantly dishonest and toe some lines for people they've never met. I can not for the life of me figure out why people are so excited to be pawns for people who have clearly showed our best interests are the last things on their priority list.

Either you haven't been paying attention to the OP or you're willfully ignoring the ridiculousness. Yeah, I sat on that horse in this case to make a point. Sorry if you didn't get it.

No one I know that supports Trump agrees with everything he says or does, that would be like a brainwashed Democrat following their pied pipers without questioning them. I question everyone about everything because I don't believe anyone (except my loved ones) at face value. But the alternative is a march toward socialism and loss of our freedoms. I won't stand for that so I fight against it. Always have, always will.

I don't know that Biden will get things under control, but I do know that Trump has done absolutely nothing to get Covid under control. We've known about it for nearly a year now and have no national respose. Trump is a total failure.

I didn’t say Covid-19 is fake. My old dad had it. The number of people I personally know, first hand, who have had it, is up in the 20’s now. Covid-19 is not fake.

But the “deadly pandemic” status it has received is absolutely made up. It is not a wildly deadly disease; the survivability rate is comfortably over 99% in all age groups except for those ages 70 and above, for which their chances of surviving the virus are 98%. Would you call that a “deadly pandemic?” I hope you understand percentages well enough to realize that no, that is not a deadly pandemic.

The hysteria and fear is manufactured by the media/government. Why would they do that? Well, it sure would help them to take away very basic human rights without much push back from the populace. And that is exactly what the vast MSM brainwashed masses have done. You appear to be their perfect subject. Accept exactly what they tell you, even when observing reality and thinking for yourself tells you otherwise.

If Trump wins, you will probably leave ATS. You will not be able to look anyone in the i again. Maybe you will have to tape the i up on your keyboard if Trump wins.

I am not going to get upset if Biden wins, he will still be the president of the United States, I will still refer to him as My president....unlike most Liberals did right from the time Hillary lost. Trump did not win, Hillary lost.

So you hate me? Because I oppose Trump?

Nope, I don't hate you at all. I just won't associate with someone that promotes liberal crap and then says "but I'm your neighbor". That's hypocrisy and I won't play that game.

What liberal crap? I just said I'm American and am neighbor to my fellow Americans.

You think I should have my stuff taken, and other stuff dictated to me whether or not I want it. You might want it, but you never thought about asking me if I did, and when I say I don't, you don't care.

How does that make you neighborly?

Did we ever get rid of the flu? Stop people from getting it every year? No? But we keep living our lives every year when flu time comes around, don’t we?

Why don’t we do that with this virus? This virus is less deadly than the flu, so why are treating it like we must “get it under control?”

To be honest I haven't read too much recently, so I can't speak on it. I'd probably observe it similarly though if I did read it. The point was more on the debate at large rather than individuals. I find it odd how people in the same breath speak with such hyperbole and then cry foul on it when someone else does. Or maybe it's that I see more of that than actual issues or platforms being discussed. This isn't an election so much as it's a crummy reality TV show where we pick a contestant we dislike slightly less.

No one I know that supports Trump agrees with everything he says or does, that would be like a brainwashed Democrat following their pied pipers without questioning them. I question everyone about everything because I don't believe anyone (except my loved ones) at face value.

As an outsider they look the same to me. If anything, the left has seemed to be a bit more honest they're not thrilled with Joe. I don't remember anyone I knew rooting for him in the primaries. I could understand the argument that's bad in a different way that people would still take moral high ground for someone they don't think highly of. I get it.

But the alternative is a march toward socialism and loss of our freedoms. I won't stand for that so I fight against it. Always have, always will.

And they say the right are fascist.

It all just gets old when people refuse to be honest about the circumstances and uses fear to prop up their failed candidates and policies. It's like holding everyone hostage, and barely setting the bar any higher because you don't have to. It's a contest to see who can have the bar so low but still a hair above the opposition.

The socialist and freedom part is kind of funny given the last 8 months though. I've seen the right being pretty eager to give out free money just weeks after the shutdown. Big bailouts for corporations.

The fed is openly buying equity in the private sector. That coupled with the bailouts is almost a literal definition of socialism, the state owning industry.

I just don't get how the charade is still being sold as truth.
