At this point covid-19 looks more like a biological weapon being used to usher in a new form of global control. At the least designed to effect the entire global economy, which can/may create new possibilities that were not possible before a world without covid-19.

Your mixing it up. Flu is influenza, corona viruses can cause severe colds. And Rino viruses can cause mild colds. I did see a ray of hope a couple of hours ago on tv though. I saw a cough and cold medication commercial. The madness is almost over.

Let me fix what you've written.

It's worrying to see so many Americans looking at reality yet believing this covid-19 is more of a hoax than a threat.

The numbers are spiking in areas of europe that have really large numbers of anti-maskers/Covid deniers (or at least that's the case here in Blighty).

Survival rate for the elderly and the ill are much lower than the figures you give. Some of us have quite a few elderly relatives and friends and family living with some form of health condition. These are the people I CHOOSE to wear a mask to protect.

If I get Covid-19 I'll likely be Asymptomatic, I have 2 people close to me who are very high risk (1 being the mother of my 2 young children, I'm not taking a chance) the mask I wear is to protect others if you do some research you'll find that a mask helps. I'm fairly sure I'll be ok but I'm not selfish enough to just think about myself.
