Thought it was interesting. Being a relatively non-political person is like being in an apartment where the people on either side of you are locked
in some kind of deadly conflict between good and evil, shouting back and forth, namecalling, etc., when most of us just want them to shut up and let
us watch the damn game.
Democratic extremists never touch on something like concern about the country's moral decay, when it consistently shows up high in the surveys.
Extremist Republicans generally don't bring up the deficit or divisions between Democrats, which are both issues moderate Republicans are very
concerned about.
The extremists just bury themselves in their own worlds, running their slanted, paranoid scenarios in their heads and heavily trolling both their
"enemies" and themselves.
Hey, regular folks. I think we need to start ignoring these people. They're unlikely to change. So like family members with drug or gambling
habits, maybe we just need to let them go, rather than get dragged down with them. You and me, we're okay. And we need to start separating ourselves
from the extremists, lest we become contaminated ourselves.
