Mike Tyson at age 54. Scary as **** don't you think?

I can't wait to see him in action again. Best of luck to Roy Jones jr.

You're right. Roy Jones jr is no walkover opponent.

Hopefully the fight lasts longer than 30 seconds too many times I've stayed up till the early morning hours for a Tyson fight that was over in the first round.

On the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Rogan asked Tyson about his mindset when it comes to training for his upcoming comeback fight against boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. In response, Tyson said he struggles with the fact that he “can really hurt somebody”—not because he doesn’t want to hurt them, but because it’s literally arousing to do so. “It’s orgasmic sometimes…” Tyson told Rogan. “What does it mean when fighting gets you erect? What does that mean?”

He isn't a heavyweight fighter... Roy is out of his class, and he retired soon after he joined the weight class...

Dude its betting on the fact that Tyson is 53... but from what i've seen hes still a beast

but again... 2020... i wouldn't be surprised IF Roy Jones knocks tyson out in one punch...

makes no sense.... but nothing makes sense anymore

It's a sad but somewhat appealing prospect although boxing is becoming a freak show , whatever brings in the money I guess.

Two will enter the ring but it's likely only one will walk out , Iron Mike.

Condolences to Roy Jones's family and friends , it aint going to be pretty.

I saw that! The guy is a real life boogeyman. That was so off.

I would get in the ring with him but it's going to cost a lot of money... because I'm going to have to hire someone to feed me and wipe the drool off my chin for the rest of my life.

I watched him as an up-and-coming fighter. I want no part of that.

Jones agreed to the fight because the first date he was given allowed Tyson 6 weeks prep. He knew with only 6 weeks training Tyson wouldn't be good enough.

The date was moved and gave Tyson a lot more time, Jones didn't agree to the date move but was contractually obliged.

Tyson's training footage looks good. But it's not going to be a simple fight to call.

Old cranky Mike Tyson is still crazy as fook Mike Tyson. But I'll watch remember James'Buster"Douglas and Evander Holyfield but it's highly likely Roy Jones get his Jr. knocked in the dirt.

Afraid of what exactly?
He couldn't beat a real boxer at the end of his first run. Hard to imagine he would be better at 50 than at 30.

Please explain how a 50-6 record with 44 knockouts (most of which are in the first couple of rounds) doesn’t make him a “real” boxer......

I heard jones backed out; if not, he’s screwed. I also remember this is a non sanctioned charity fight, that was spotted for 6 rounds and knockout was the only outcome..... ( Tyson wins by knockout) end of story haha

It's been crazy and corrupt for a very long time.

Remember when George Forman came out of a 20 year retirement and won the heavyweight title?

Remember when he lost it?

Watch when he "lost" it.

Anyone who uses HGH or any other of the cheats is #e in my books.

Tyson was and still is a freak...not an athletic freak lots of guys are athletes of higher caliber than him including a few boxers ... Gus harnessed Tysons freakishness....he identified a developing deviant monster and he moulded it into a boxer....Mike Tyson is a bully...he garnered his taste for blood by being a bully....he fed his twisted little ego early and often with victims.....not challenges.

As a boxer he was allowed to be sick at work....a non-medicated Tyson was ferocious above normal while a properly medicated normal Tyson had his ass handed to him.

The only place in this world where you are guaranteed a one-on-one fight with rules is in the Ring...Tysons always been a bullly and a pussy....hes a freak of nature a mental omlette.

Boxers should have to pass mental testing to be allowed to fight.....crazy people are not normal people they are sick people.

I hated seeing Tyson be taken advantage of when he was a kid and I hate it now....he needs treatment not more punishment.

Bottom line is there is no serious drug testing in place and Tyson is admittedly doing al kinds of strange scientific genetic stuff to his body....this is just another side-show....Roy Jones JR. needs the dough...so let him have a go.

I already decided not to watch it.

I didn't say he wasn't a real boxer...
I said he couldn't beat a real boxer.

Go back and look at his record and point out his signature win over a quality opponent.
He beat many journeyman and several former great boxers past their prime.

When he ran in to a skilled boxer that could defend themselves he lost. Admittedly he was getting past his prime by then.

Tyson was a complete beast in his early 20s but unfortunately the heavyweight division didn't have much in the way of quality opponents for him to fight.

First and only time I'll be excited to see two 50 year olds fight. This fight would never have happened 25-30 years ago when they were in their peak, so we will have to settle for a couple of old GOATS throwin hands.

Any youngins who don't know, Tyson in the 80s and Roy Jones in the 90s were the best boxers on the planet. Tysons peekaboo style was so fierce when he was up and coming before the fame and money got to him. Constant pressure, speed, counterpunches body/head, it was masterful.

Roy Jones, the most unique style, the fastest hands/reflexes. You could safely say nobody will ever box like Roy again you just can't teach his style. Rarely had his guard up, but rarely got hit. He knocked down another pound for pound great in James Toney with a move he said he got from a rooster. No joke.

Both Tyson and Jones get the shade of "never beat anyone great" but the fact is they made great boxers look amateur.

Tyson youngest heavyweight champ ever, also unified the belts, destroyed the best competition at the time. While not ali or frazier, he still beat in sensational fashion Michael Spinks, Trevor Berbick, Bonecrusher Smith, and don't forget the only man to ever KO the legendary Larry Holmes. (And before you say Larry was done by then keep in mind he went on to beat both Ray Mercer and Evander Holyfield after that.So he couldn't have been too done. Larry Holmes any age is a beast)

Roy beat everyone he fought until he got DQd against that one guy he absolutely smoked in the rematch. Then went up to heavyweight got a belt there then came back to lightheavy and got knocked out in the Antonio Tarver rematch
. Roy still got wins over Bernard hopkins , James toney, Virgil hill and more. All very good champions that Roy made look like they had no business in the ring.

I bet when he’s 80 he could whip me at my lifetime peak of strength and stamina, when I was 22-25 years old. Do any of you think you could take him at age 80 in your prime?
