Question: Who Paints Orange Mans Face

Ever since the Trump hallmark spray on tan look has given him the moniker "Orange Man" I've always figured it was just some product he used to even up after being in Florida. I always thought spray tans were superficial and crappy looking, but a lot of people do it, so eh, big deal if the president uses it. I never gave the "Orange Man" nick name much thought until lately after closely studying the broadcast evening news programs.

It is well known how much "pancake" makeup the newscasters in the big studios are using. With the stage lighting, type of cameras, in house studio effects for color correction, etc., they have strict control over the look of their talking heads. This look they achieve on their white anchors faces is a very light tone with a hint of pink on the cheeks, rather perfect in an unnatural way. Then they cut to some footage of the president and his face is the same blazing orange from every shot and angle to the point it almost seems digitally colorized. The only image I've seen of the president lately that had a normal skin tone was the one at his desk signing papers just after testing positive for COVID.

I'm beginning to suspect that the MSM news is enhancing president Trump's skin tone to promote the "Orange Man Bad" meme going around. I feel that this may be just one more way to disrespect and thumb their noses at the president.

I haven't looked into this theory I'm formulating, but I'm putting this out there to see what others have to say. I'll think about it some more and do some research, it's just a hard one to try to either prove or disprove. I'm not sure how to approach the research on this one so it may take awhile.

I agree. Even FOX did it during the debates but allowed Biden to use SPF 1,000,000 to resist Trump's sun-like, radiant glow.

and again it shows the hypocrisy of our culture, when kids are dying their hair whatever color, tat any and all manner of color and design, and even mutilattion...but call that out in a derogatory way, and "shame on you, you horrible spiteful judgmental person".

ETA: You can see the oval selection where the orange is enhanced on Trump's face. His outer cheeks and ear is white along with his outer chin. I could have done far better than that, what a hack job.

OK. Let's say it is his makeup, who the hell would do a hack job like that for an important public event like the debate?

Given it is a bad makeup job, the camera settings and control board can make it look worse, so there is that.

I'm not convinced they aren't monkeying around with the president's looks, but why make it look so bad if they aren't? Then again, why make it look good? I can see the Trump team wanting him looking good on stage, not so much the MSM.

Have you not come to the realization that Trump doesn't take advice from anyone who isn't him? I'm sure he thinks he looks wonderful and no amount of someone saying he has the complexion of a certain snack food is going to dissuade him from slathering his face with orange goop.

If you check out his post covid balcony speach you'll see him looking very very orange then the media switches to another camera and presto he's got a very good make up job that makes him look healthy and tanned - not orange at all.

So yes i think they orange him up indeed. Although at times he definitely is over sprayed.

BUT what the dumbos don't realise is that when they desciminate against him for his orangeness they actually make non white America relate on a subconscious level let alone a conscious level, it's just a discrimination on color kind relate.
Man the media and the dems are so basic and stupid.....consistently.

I swear, if he gets any more orange, he'll look like a giant mutated umpa-loompa. If he does a song and dance on stage with some moral message in it, I'd say that's what's going on.

TDS as usual as I'm sure he SEES HIMSELF ON TV and thus evaluates the orangeness of his face - if it was as you say above the orangeness would be uniform for the most part as per his alleged self evaluation of wonderfulness.

Instead of the varying shades we see.

From the look of it, it looks like he does it himself. Anyone who’s a professional wouldn’t give him raccoon eyes.

While we’re at it he probably tailors his suits himself too. It’d take a personal touch to get it looking right while he stands like a centaur missing it’s back half.
