I am so sorry to hear that you lost your beloved pet.

Similar situatin with my friends cat. But she was outdoor cat and old. He wolk up and dound her being eaten by a vulture. He feels like it was his fault. ( the cat adopted them) no more animals were allowed inside. Can't keep watch all the time. We burried her. Time will heal all.
