Shouldn't be any surprise here, he is POTUS after all and will continue receiving world-class healthcare. Still, it's a hefty price and slaps reality back into this pandemic:

President Trump spent three days in the hospital. He arrived and left by helicopter. And he received multiple coronavirus tests, oxygen, steroids and an experimental antibody treatment.

For someone who isn’t president, that would cost more than $100,000 in the American health system. Patients could face significant surprise bills and medical debt even after health insurance paid its share.

Regeneron, the antibody cocktail given to the president does not currently carry a charge due as it is only currently available for clinical trial participants or compassionate use.

The financial impacts of the coronavirus disease have impacted many Americans across the nation, with costs for hospitalisation and life-saving treatment skyrocketing into the thousands.

Source

The president was correct in saying we have the best medical equipment and expertise in the world, hence, in part, his message following Walter Reed about not needing to be afraid of Coronavirus. The problem is, it's about access which the vast majority of people don't have. this will change in time in the case of a vaccine, but we're still a while away from this according to experts.

Thanks to Obamacare, most Americans have health insurance.

The deductible next year goes up to $8,100 out of pocket, but that's less than $100,000.

Go to Trumps Twitter. He posted a live message, about 4 mins long.

I watched it all. He says, what he recieved is what he wants the American people to recieve. Real proper treatment. However, Politics bruh.

Also, don't be afraid of Covid.

The calculations are unrelated to 'Obamacare'. Whether or not Obamacare exists, that figure would remain the same. Healthcare costs have been skyrocketing since well before the ACA came into play.

I guess you missed him speaking an hour ago where he wants everyone to get the treatment he did, he is going to use the military to deliver the drugs to our hospitals and it will be free to us.

Any comment on that?

As a Veteran, it cost me nothing either.

Oh and this...

...prestigious Commonwealth Fund in the U.S. released its most recent update comparing health-care systems in the rich industrialized world. This showed our health-care system, run virtually in its entirety by these effective Canadian public servants, not just below average, but at the bottom of the heap, barely outperforming France and our health-care system’s arch-enemy, the U.S.

And...

Even first-place U.K., closest to the Canadian system, has a parallel private health-care system that allows people to opt out of the public system and purchase private insurance. When the Labour government of Tony Blair sought to shorten endemic queues in the system, it was able to contract with a flexible private sector to purchase services the government could not get the public system to provide. In Canada, Saskatchewan’s highly successful experiments with provision of services through private clinics has earned that province a tussle with Health Canada, which is trying to stamp out the practice.

Will the Mexicans be paying for this as well or will the bill eventually be handed to the American taxpayers? Free....yeah right!

It costs $3000 in hospital bills and ambiguous drug screening costs
(you get no results, just price charged for each metabolite search)
just to mention anything factually negative about digital power valves
in earshot of a fireman.
ie., ‘smart meters interact with biology’.
This is normal police procedure....
At least in Park Ridge. I’m not complaining or anything just stating some facts.

Hell, a few years ago I barely escaped the same fate because
I was laying on my back in a park, on Mother’s Day.
“What are you doing?” a voice spoke.
Sits up. Firetruck, ambulance, a few squads at curb.
“I was relaxing...”
“No drugs or anything?” said another.
“That’s right.”
Cop grabs for bag.
“Excuse me?”
“You said ‘that’s right!’” blurts another.

“You can’t just lay down in the park”, chided a paramedic.
At least not in Park Ridge.

Since, this time, I was not bounded by my house, I managed to free myself,
though they hounded me all down the street.
I remarked that “I really don’t want interaction with you.
If you keel over from a heart attack, I get a murder rap, right? Go away.
Do something useful.
I’ll be over on Ashland parkway,
doing the exact same thing.”

The way they figure, I must owe another 3 grand since I evaded capture
on the first attempt. Only in Park Ridge....

It’s fun, being dangled over a sectioning pit, stripped before a crowd
for a forced blood draw, penis head swabbed (you never know, right?) and piss collection.
All this stays on your record. That you were ‘evaluated’ because a fireman
with the IQ of a brick can’t understand normal thinking. Or got paid off,
along with an armed goon squad escort of 9.

The Illinois ACLU says that’s a fair penalty for being careless with your speech.
Nothing unjust about it.
“Please accept our regrets that we cannot help you with your ‘situation’”, unsigned,
ACLU Intake Department.
It only costs 30 times more if one should collapse from covid?
Sounds like a bargain.

But, the ACLU will have your legal back if you’re a POC and set a cop on fire
during a riot, you know, orange man bad,
or if you want to compete, even professionally, in girls sports
while swinging a dick.
Yes, these are well within your civil liberties.
File your suit today. They are here for you.
Donate to the ACLU today.

Either way, seeking current medical attention on the same level as the POTUS will cost somebody. In your case, even a wealthy nation on the level of Canada won't be able to take that level of debt.

Just goes to show the cost the virus is putting upon various communities. Let's not forget as well, Trump is still under medical care. This is just the beginning.

Here in Canada, we pay high taxes.....we all pay for it in the end.
At least Trump is doing more than our PM.

The PM's wife got covid, was over it fast and he didn't offer us any of the options his wife had. (whatever that was)

Thumbs up to Trump if he actually follows through to get it to everyone free.

I had surgery at walter reed doesnt cost me anything. Glad to see people are starting to appreciate the military hospitals again. There for a while they were scary. But there has been a drastic improvement in care.

The president is the one that gets the attention. What about all members of congress? They all have premium healthcare that we, the tax payers, pay for and can't access. And they had the gall to pass Obamacare (before reading the bill).

If it's free, we better be putting the squeeze on the Mexicans like for the Wall.

trump makes a lot of promises; I still haven't gotten my stimulus check. Maybe I don't qualify.
