I didn't see any footage in those videos of a little girl taking a pic of her genitals, humping the ground, grabbing their crotches, didn't see the camera zooming in on the kids genitals or asses to emphasize the sexual aspect of it either.

The parents of these kids along with the Director, script, film crew, distributor should all be arrested.
Who funded this adventure i wonder.

Fokin disgusting.

Parents who sell their kids ass for money, is no parent that's needed on this earth.

I don't see the suit succeeding. It's not a film that interests me but from what I've seen it's no worse than some of these disturbing beauty pageants with five year old girls done up in outfits that my local stripper would wear.

You're a smart man, you know damn well that "male" isn't spelled "L.O.C.A.L."

Hey, if you think a bunch of prepubescent girls prancing around in something a stripper would wear is cool that's your thing. Keep in mind that the 'services' these places offer are wholly paid for by the parents and are still cranking out non-skanky little girls on a weekly basis.

I think both are pretty disgusting, but that doesn't make them equal.

I see, so there are less disturbing sexualizations of children? It's a scale?

That's correct. And in the age of Tide Pods and Gen Z, it's not difficult to understand why little girls and betas wouldn't see this show and think it's ok.

On another, sort of off topic note, I felt the need to turn my head when the naked Brook Shields scenes in The Blue Lagoon came on until I found out that her skinny dipping stunt double was actually a woman in her 20's.

I'm super liberal and I haven't heard anyone defend this movie.

I lot of the critics and so-called elite are trying to defend it as art or a movie with a message against child exploitation. I've even seen some commentators try to defend it by saying only conservatives who like Trump get outraged by it or some other such nonsense. The point is that they exist and rather more of them than I am comfortable with because they all seem to have big voices on the national stage which means they have power.

Yep. And remember when YT channels were getting deleted for shining a light on Elsagate?

Obviously?

A child dancing AND touching themself in a sexually suggestive way is more disturbing to me than a child dancing in a sexual way.

A video of children dancing suggestively is bad, a video of children dancing suggestively with the camera panning and zooming in on their genitals to emphasize the sexual aspect of it is worse because of the undeniable intent.

Child pornography is also sexualization of children, that's more disturbing than this too.

You disagree?

Not sure where you were going with that question.

What the hell is "Dance Moms"? I've never even heard of that until you posted a video of it.

And score another negative point for you for actually watching little girls dance in a sexual way.

I haven't watched either.
But that's because I don't watch child porn and abuse.
Honestly I don't understand how anyone can justify either one.

I get uncomfortable going to my high school daughter's volleyball games. Some of those girls make me feel like a dirty old man.
Still... Spandex shorts, and I mean short, are part of the uniform.

I guess that's an issue you need to work out with yourself than.

Child pornography is also sexualization of children, that's more disturbing than this too.

Guess you didn't read the Original Post too well, first sentence, "Netflix is being charged with violating child pornography laws'. Texas is saying this is child porn. I'm saying this 'child porn' is the same crap you can watch on Dance Moms which Sookie linked for you and gave you which season has the same type of behavior. Go 'investigate'.

The user did. You're not choosing to look.

Hey man, if young girls dancing is your underhanded thing, keep it to yourself. Seriously.

Rationalizing it because "Dance Moms" doesn't change that fact.

Was "Dance Moms" indicted?

Actually, you aren't since the statute being cited is Texas' child pornography laws which is where the verbiage is being pulled from.

Was "Dance Moms" indicted?

My point is if the film was than the TV show should be because it's the same thing.

It's selective outrage.

If you sexualize teenagers, and that makes you feel like a dirty old man, that's not on them, that's on you.

I guess I'm not understanding your point here. The "authorities" in Texas thought this was bad, so they said something and it's going to court. it was mentioned here, and amazingly enough, others agreed that it was not normal.

In order to agree that this isn't normal, does some other pre-requisite need to be met? Do we need to now investigate all possible sick video to quantify the original opinion?

Can't we just either agree this is wrong, or disagree, and say we enjoy watching little kids twerking and grinding, as Sookie does?
