Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, test positive for Coronavirus

With his slight obesity and age, the fact he's taking statins which means he has mild heart disease puts him in a higher risk category than most but like a lot have said already, he has some of the best care available, so like Boris did here, he should recover quickly.

Hopefully the people claiming Covid is all a hoax finally realise this is a real disease, what ever their political beliefs.

In the interview phone call thats playing here in the UK on one of the news channels, Trump does seem to blame the Armed Forces and Police for getting to close to him?

I suspect he’s had it all along but has been asymtomatic, except for a slight orange tint to his skin. Clearly he has inadvertently spread to the world via Twitter, though China was the intended target because they did not play ball with his trade plans..

Nah my theory sounds nearly as nuts as yours, don’t worry though just like 99.4% of people he’ll recover just fine, because it was blown out of all proportion to begin with so they could bring in the new normal and the great reset.

Very few people are claiming it’s a hoax, but many are saying it’s not a deadly pandemic that is being claimed. The statistics back it up, it’s being used for a further agenda.

I've seen people on here claim it's all a hoax.
So far over 1 million have died from it, it may not be bubonic plague but it's not like a common cold or flu.

the article I saw said Hope felt sick on the plane so she is not asymptomactic but I don't know how sick she is or how sick she will get

she was not feeling well on the plane with the prez......trump and melania did not catch it from hope because it would be too soon to have symptoms the 3 of them were exposed earlier to someone else....trump has 2 things he is old and overweight that work against him.......he is not asymptomatic he was lethargic and fell asleep on the plane

Have 1 million people died with it or from it? There is a big difference between people with underlying health issues dying from it and relatively healthy people dying from it. If BoJo can survive it I think most of us can. Sure protect the vulnerable yes, but draconian measures put in place are over the top to say the least.

Did anyone notice that Trump is not getting any of the treatments touted by both him and Fauci:

- Remdesivir (very toxic)
- Blood plasma (all sorts of complications)
- Dexamethasone (or another corticosteroid; suppresses immune system, making patients vulnerable to bacterial infections, also constricts blood vessels, blood clotting is already a problem with Covid-19)

Instead, he's getting synthetic antibodies (similar idea as blood plasma but is quite more costly to produce than just getting people to donate their blood and extracting the plasma, the cheap lazy but very profitable 'solution').

HCQ is not touted by Fauci, therefore does not qualify in the way I carefully phrased my comment for that exact reason (someone bringing it up in response to my comment).

I'll emphasize "both" in my previous comment to make that even more clear.

Ah yes, the news article I read about it wasn't clear about that detail. It just said "an antiviral". Misread that cause the article about the synthetic antibodies was right below it, so I forgot all about it (or read it as one and the same article, it was a live newsblog actually, with short summaries of larger articles included).

Scratch Remdesivir from my list.* What got me thinking about it anyway, was the fact that he was getting the expensively produced synthetic antibodies treatment rather than the antibodies from cheaply produced blood plasma (but very profitable) with all its complications (that's for the 'unimportant' masses who don't know any better, as to which one of these 2 treatments is the better more 'luxurious' one, so to speak, with less complications).

*: for some reason I wanted to use a list, probably because of the way I phrased my first sentence. From then on, I sort of had to come up with a list. The whole sentence there is invalid now anyway. Should have phrased it quite differently. The thing was, that I was primarily thinking of the blood plasma treatment being touted by both Trump and Fauci, something they have in common, just like the political left and the right. It would be much healthier for the patient if they isolated just the antibodies from the blood, and not take the lazy more profitable route. Or synthetic ones, if they work just as well.
