Trump adviser Hope Hicks tests positive for coronavirus

Just in. Hope Hicks, a Trump advisor, has tested positive for CoronaVirus. Ms. Hicks spends a lot of time around Pres. Trump, apparently.

(CNN)Hope Hicks, one of President Donald Trump's top aides, has tested positive for coronavirus, three sources told CNN on Thursday.

She traveled with the President multiple times recently, including to the debate in Cleveland on Tuesday, and was seen boarding Marine One on Wednesday as Trump was heading to a campaign rally in Minnesota.
CNN has reached out to Hicks for comment.
"The President takes the health and safety of himself and everyone who works in support of him and the American people very seriously," White House spokesman Judd Deere told CNN in a statement when asked about the level of contact between Hicks and Trump.
The White House made no mention of Hicks by name, nor did it confirm she had tested positive.
"White House Operations collaborates with the Physician to the President and the White House Military Office to ensure all plans and procedures incorporate current CDC guidance and best practices for limiting COVID-19 exposure to the greatest extent possible both on complex and when the President is traveling," Deere added.

Interesting turn of events. I hope Hicks is ok but neither Trump nor the people around him wear masks. I wonder what Pres. Trump will do with Covid at his door? Will he start wearing masks at his rallies now? What says ATS?

Well I do hope president Trump and all the staff members will be fine.

I hope she and all around her will be okay. I also hope Trump starts wearing a mask. He really should do that at public events.

He hasn't caught it so far, even without the mask.

He'll be fine, the President gets the best treatment if so.

Flu and Covid-19 are similar for people in Hope Hick's age range.

Well, I think Trump is trying to project a tough guy image but viruses don't care how tough you are. He shouldn't tempt fate.

Others tested positive and were in proximity to Trump, he never got it.

So, idk, maybe the tough guy approach works, works for me.

Apparently, Trump was recently tested and may have to self quarantine with Melania.

Or it's a false positive arranged to make him quarantine so Biden has a way out of future debates without being the one to back out.
