One of the functions of the Russian system "Avtobaza" is reprogramming and control interception, colleague.
Although Avtobaza has long been an outdated system, it is still effective in countering many Western network-centric systems.

Yeah that doesn't answer anything. Don't reply to me with your preposterous gibberish.

You mean like the time the Su-24 was carrying a system not designed for it to carry, and magically shut off the Donald Cook with it?

Oh no. This is an old story. Since then, there have been many cases where Russian radio-electronic warfare systems have been used against NATO systems, even in combat conditions. In particular, in Syria, when Russian electronic warfare systems dropped about 30 Tomahawk missiles into the Syrian sands. From the latter: a week ago, electronic warfare systems were used against American bombers, which from the airspace of Ukraine over the Black Sea imitated a missile attack on Crimea. Also, within the framework of the Caucasus-2020 exercise, they blinded a French frigate heading for the Crimea.
This struggle is permanent. You want to know our capabilities, we show you our yesterday’s capabilities, you are indignant and shout about "Russian aggression".
We call it "the game of Nanai boys")))
We are used to it)))

And of course Russian equipment is the best in the world and works against every system it's ever used against, without fail.

Yeah, it's your thread. You do owe us at least an attempt to be coherent and serious. You make no effort to be either. You're simply here to be an ass. You do a good job of it.

This seems a bit hyperbolic. They successfully got some number of kilometers away from the carrier group? Mkay and? Oh they say they could have turned off the defense system of the whole carrier group? I’ll go out on a limb and say if it were so simple such an attack would have already taken place. Hot air and posturing. Funny Iran and China trying to show military might against the US. What’s up?

It's very simple, my friend. This is not China, Iran and Russia at your doorstep, but the opposite. Your military systems are at the doorstep of these countries. The reaction is ordinary, human. I always read the Western press with a smile when Russian ships pass the English Channel or make a base in Cuba. Pride is the main human sin, which has always ruined a person. It's just that Russia, in particular, never throws a tantrum, but responds asymmetrically, but harshly. You have to get used to it.

Cant really hack the tomohawk you can spoof it however. This is where you try to send it the wrong gps coordinates. although if your trying to do that then most likely your sitting at the target and about to die. You could get lucky and have it fly overhead but odds are not good you would have the right equipment in the right place, And even then if it decides the GPS signa is corrupted it wll just try to get close and use the camera.

Now you can hack an air defense system because they are made to talk to each other. For example US was able to collect the operating frequencies of the Russian S-400 air defense systems. So then it becomes a matter of breaking the encryption. So anytime you see the s400 go active I would bet their is a Poseidon aircraft in the area soaking up data. Just a matter of time for them to hack in if they haven't already.

One thing we Americans have over just about every other nation is we have 20 years of real war testing.. Its all fun and game on the test range then you get into battle and people say oh crap the equipment isn't doing as what we tested. When we look at the evolution of our military that has been operating in that war environment since early 2000 it is crazy as to what we had back than that wasn't all that bad to what we have today that is extremely good and battle tested.

If another nation has concerns about our capabilities I'm sure this is at the top of the list.

Neither you nor I know the real capabilities of Russian systems. This is classified information. Therefore, to argue what would happen if ..., I think it's stupid. I do not want confrontation. On the contrary, I want peace and fair, equal partnership. But Russia takes into account all the options, we have good analysts. Therefore, we are trying to adequately respond to threats to our state.
There is no secret here, everyone should know it. Russia has all the possibilities.

Spoofing a GPS is easy on paper but in reality it isn't. They would typically use what is called a GPS simulator that can over power the very weak signals that a satellite puts out, but as you said.... Unless it is a spot that is predetermined like lets say an approach to an airport then good luck in being at the right place and at the right time.

Then if you throw in SAAM GPS into the mix then the aircraft, drone, missile will know it is being spoofed and take counter measures. GPS spoofing is only dangerous when no one knows it is happening.

That's why when the B-52s from Fairford were flying over the Ukraine recently, they had several Rivet Joints, a Combat Sent, at least one Poseidon, and an RAF Sentinel in the area at the same time, picking up all kinds of interesting data.

According to the number on the side of the island, that is the USS Nimitz, CVN-68. The USS Nimitz is currently located somewhere in the Malacca Straights. That is in or near Malaysia. That is a very, very, very long way for a drone to travel from Iran to look at it.

Its says a lot about people here who gave this post stars.

And yet when it was pointed out by the OP that the information contained in it is incorrect, and you replied to him saying basically 'yes i was wrong', that post received only one star.

Seems people only want to hear what they want to hear ignoring the facts
What facts? Citing Iranian sources?

You just come off salty at the fact that the US Military is simply too powerful and that bothers you. GOOD.

A Single Iranian Done cannot take out an Aircraft Carrier.

Did it ever occur to you that the US Navy knows that simple fact and thus let the Drone do whatever it wants, knowing full well how insignificant it is?

....also, we now know the result of that encounter in this very thread, NOTHING. No sinking ship, no destroyed drone, just a pass by with a few snapshots of a beautiful, but dangerous and powerful weapons platform.

So, in a sense, this is just, well really? BS, nothing else beyond that. The OP lives up to his avatar name while ironically being probably trolled by a real one *Shrugs*

The fact that the carrier was indeed in the Persian gulf *shrugs*

You didnt even read the 2 posts
Regardless, it’s still irrelevant *shrugs*

So propeganda, like I thought. It’s all your spewing comrade. It’s funny you speak of pride, your oozing with some kind of vendetta, like you want the US to be taken down? But seriously, this is a joke. Terrorist cells would be using tech to disable advanced US tech, it’s not happening though. Are you saying thet have the demonstrable tech to do it, or just that they say so and you don’t like the US?

Your title is an outright lie, the drone DID NOT disable all defense systems from some unknown number of kilometers away, they only think they could have. So far your just demonstrably a hyperbolic liar throwing propaganda. Idk how much of that mantra you describe you include yourself under...

Iranian citizens don't like their leaders. We should terminate the most radical ones tomorrow. That would Make a lot of people very happy in Iran, and prevent lives from being taken by this trigger-happy regime of crazies.

Do you have a legally certified power of attorney to speak on behalf of Iranian citizens? Or are simple words enough and everyone will immediately believe you?

People who escape Iran call themselves Persian an empire that’s been gone for over a century.
