A Nebraska bar owner that killed a rioter who was attacking him and his business has committed suicide, a friend has confirmed to The Gateway Pundit.
The bar owner, Jake Gardner, was indicted by a grand jury on counts of manslaughter, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, attempted first-degree assault and making terrorist threats after intense political pressure was placed on the city.
Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine announced Monday that the shooter, 38-year-old Jake Gardner, will not be charged for the shooting, but Gardner has faced other charges in the past. Gardner was arrested in September of 2013 and charged with two counts of assault and battery, along with failure to inform an officer of a concealed handgun, property damage, and theft.
