Hmmmm... you may have a case of performing unnecessary procedures for government money / billing. It appears there is a history of fraud related to women's healthcare with this place. Really won't know until there is a formal investigation.

The case was dismissed as part of a settlement, in which the hospital and nine doctors, including Amin, paid more than half a million dollars to the government, but did not admit any liability. The government, as part of the settlement, did not admit that its own claims were unfounded.

I'm not sure if you know anything about the female anatomy, but that isn't a hysterectomy.

If they were having problems, wouldn't they do a DNC before doing a Hysterectomy? Usually a Hysterectomy is for worse cases.

You know that a hysterectomy isn't an abortion, right?

Hysterectomies arent sterilization. There are easier, less damaging ways to sterilize a women that wont lead to lifelong detrimental health effects. I tend to agree with those who are saying that if this is true, it is probably more a case of fraud than anything.
And, anyone trying to justify sterilizing women without their consent because they are undesirables in your eyes should accept that they are the eugenicists, not the people who believe the decision as to who should or should have a child when should be held in the hands of the individual women.
