Sen. Ron Johnson on Monday said the Senate Homeland Security committee, which he chairs, is poised to release a damning report on Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s dealings in Ukraine.

“Stay tuned. In about a week we’re going to learn a whole lot more of Vice President Biden’s unfitness for office,” the Wisconsin Republican said on a call with supporters, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Johnson’s committee has been investigating Hunter Biden’s employment by a Ukrainian energy company during the time his father led the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy.

Since then there has been more activity resulting in the September 10, U.S. Treasury imposed sanctions on Derkach over his "efforts to influence the 2020 U.S. presidential election," branding him a "Russian agent."

Something about Romney isn't right. Maybe it does have to do with an advisor to his campaign named Coffer who has also been on the Burisma board.

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee voted Wednesday morning to authorize subpoenas for a number of officials -- including former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr -- as part of the panel's controversial probe into Burisma, the Ukrainian oil and gas firm for which former Vice President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, once served on the board of directors.

"In about a week we're going to learn a whole lot more of Vice President Biden's unfitness for office," Johnson said, according to a report in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Johnson denied questions from Capitol Hill reporters who asked him on Monday if his upcoming report was political in nature.

"No, no, it's about getting the truth out," Johnson said. "My guess would be when people take a look at this they might, might affect them, you know, it probably should, that's just, you know, an obvious fact."

Probably next week. Little-by-little, evidence of either Biden corruption, or Biden money laundering is becoming visible.

For instance, here's a report tonight about Hunter Biden receiving "suspicious" laundered transactions from overseas companies, after Joe Biden visited the host countries...either alone, or with his son Hunter.

Now that the Senate Report's release is imminent, the State Department has turned over thousands of documents to U.S. House Democrats who wanted to see what Senator Johnson's committee was finding.

It will be interesting to see how House Democrats behave prior to the Biden-Ukraine report's release. If they look scared or defensive, Joe Biden's candidacy is definitely finished. Or maybe some of them are implicated in CHINA or UKRAINE corruption.

Republicans are preparing to release a report in a matter of days on their investigation focused on former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, a move they hope will put fresh scrutiny on the Democratic nominee just weeks from the election.

The controversial probe, spearheaded by Sens. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), is focused broadly on Obama-era policy and Hunter Biden's work for Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings.

The GOP report, which is set to be released this week, is expected to argue that Hunter Biden’s work impacted Obama-era Ukraine policy and created a conflict of interest given then-Vice President Joe Biden’s work in the area.

A narrative, seized on by President Trump, that Biden worked to oust Ukrainian Prosecutor Viktor Shokin to protect his son has been widely discredited, though Hunter Biden has said joining the board was “poor judgement.”

“I think it’s time for the American people to see what we’ve got,” said Johnson, who chairs the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

Though he’s argued for months that his probe isn’t being driven by the 2020 election, Johnson has teased the forthcoming findings as damaging to Biden’s political prospects and placed it in the context of the rapidly approaching November election.

"What our investigations are uncovering, I think, will reveal this is not somebody we should be electing president of the United States," Johnson said in an interview with local Wisconsin radio station WCLO.

The interim report on Biden-Ukraine corruption was released today.

The Senate Homeland Security and Finance Committees on Wednesday released an interim report on their monthslong joint investigation into Hunter Biden’s role on the board of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings and his alleged “extensive and complex financial transactions.”

Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said their investigation has “faced many obstacles” from Democrats on their committees, and that executive agencies “failed to comply with document requests.”

The chairmen added that “there remains much work to be done” in their probe.

Hunter Biden is the son of the Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. His work background played a starring role in the Trump impeachment efforts earlier this year. He and his father have denied any wrongdoing related to his work.

The 87-page report stated that Obama administration officials “knew” that Hunter Biden’s position on the board of Burisma was “problematic” and that it interfered “in the efficient execution of policy with respect to Ukraine.”

“This investigation has illustrated the extent to which officials within the Obama administration ignored the glaring warning signs when the vice president’s son joined the board of a company owned by a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch,” the report’s executive summary stated.

As you can see from reading back through recent posts in this thread, there was a lot of "resistance" from inside government. The FBI still has not produced requested documents on Hunter and Joe.

But the investigation continues. Witnesses and documents are being subpoenaed (instead of "requested") by Senators Johnson and Graham.

The Johnson-Grassley findings on Hunter Biden are being sent to the Department of Justice as a "criminal referral" for the DOJ to investigate.

Sen. Rand Paul said he will send the report on the GOP-led investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden to the Justice Department on Thursday.

"I think the only way to determine the actual legality of this is to have it referred to the Department of Justice, so I'm going to send the report over," Paul told Fox News host Martha MacCallum on Wednesday. "I don't know if the whole committee will vote for it, but I'm sending the report tomorrow to the Department of Justice, and we're asking for a criminal referral."

The Kentucky Republican's announcement came after the release of a report regarding a monthslong investigation into the business dealings of Hunter Biden, who was employed on the board of Ukrainian energy firm Burisma Holdings at the same time his father was serving as the U.S. vice president.

The 87-page report characterized Biden's lucrative role at the firm as "problematic," but found no evidence that U.S. policy was influenced by it.
