A pier collapsed close to downtown Seattle down by the fish market

They wouldn't tell me any news about it they were just scanning the radio here and all the emergency calls coming in one after another and it showed a picture of a little peer collapsed with junk everywhere.

I don't know what the deal is they didn't say anything was shaking so I guess it wasnt an Earthquake quake.

I can't find any news about it they have the whole Road cleared out though

Pier 58 in downtown Seattle. They were taking it apart because it had separated from the shore. It was a demolition. Guess it collapsed a little too early. That is DAMN cold water in Elliot Bay, too. You don't last very long if you fall in. Trust me. I've been there. (I was stupid and 18. I jumped off a sea plane and swam for shore.)

A parking deck they are building in midtown Atlanta has collapsed twice!

We call that fish market the Seattle Aquarium. Pike Place has a salmon throwing tourist attraction fish market, but I don't think you can shop for seafood at the aquarium. ;-)
