Our weather guy was saying they were likely to set a new record for the fastest turnaround from 100+ degree heat to snow in the nation. The old one
was five days but they were looking to do it in 2 or 3.
Should be fine and quite beautiful by then (although you're right to wonder what to expect with CO weather). Looks like the fires nearby are
contained now too.
I spent my 5 mins of fall (and then some!) covering what I could of the garden and setting up a temporary nursery in my garage for the pots I could
move.
No snow in my area yet--might have dodged the snowball this time!
I understand midwestern weather just fine living in Missouri and having grown up in Kansas. The popular saying is that if you don't like the weather,
wait 30 minutes.
