I'm putting this here because it makes me giggle, but it might be a Fragile Earth thing.

No joke. This is the actual forecast map for Colorado, not Hell.

How many times are you going to see this on an actual, real weather forecast map?

I got a weather alert yesterday that made mention of Denver, CO's forecast.
92 for a high during the day and 3-6 inches of snow overnight.

Our weather guy was saying they were likely to set a new record for the fastest turnaround from 100+ degree heat to snow in the nation. The old one was five days but they were looking to do it in 2 or 3.

Looks like they are going to be filming ”The Day After Tomorrow, II” in Colorado.

Get your popcorn ready!

I'm heading to Glenwood Springs Oct. 1st. No idea what to expect weather-wise.

Should be fine and quite beautiful by then (although you're right to wonder what to expect with CO weather). Looks like the fires nearby are contained now too.

Enjoy your trip!!

I spent my 5 mins of fall (and then some!) covering what I could of the garden and setting up a temporary nursery in my garage for the pots I could move.

No snow in my area yet--might have dodged the snowball this time!

I understand midwestern weather just fine living in Missouri and having grown up in Kansas. The popular saying is that if you don't like the weather, wait 30 minutes.
