This one is heading for Okinawa. Then Kyushu island and it seems like we live in it's path. Be hitting Monday in our area. Hope it's not during high tide.

I see another poster talk about green water.

But really. Isn't the radiation in the water off your cast an issue if this pulls it up onto the land?
Is your government preparing for that?

I am not a nuclear scientist but radiation is not transported, it is the atoms that emit radiation. If anything, the radiation emitting atoms would disperse due to the currents, they would not collect because of a storm.

The radiating atoms that still reside (add; on land) are more dangerous, plus all the water storage tanks just sitting there for a chance to leak. If anything, the water in the ocean is catching up the stuff on land and disperses it inland.

I am even inclined to believe that the storm has a cleansing effect as in, if there are any concentrated currents, they rather be dispersed than stagnate and saturate.

Japan is going through a lot lately. You told us about the floods, the food prices, city emptying, now this. I am one of the more silent reader about Japan, I watch your threads but seldom partake.

Hold tight and stay safe
