A mask lessens the chance of you passing along the coronavirus if you are infected. If everyone wears a mask then the chances of people getting the virus are lessened.

I've already spoken to someone that had corona virus. He was totally healthy and didn't worry about wearing a mask. He ended up in the hospital hooked up to a ventillator, spitting up his own blood on his chest and having major hallucinations while in intensive care.

Wear a mask the risk is not worth it.

Yeah? My 77 year old dad did everything our overlords ordered us to do, including your precious mask. He got the virus. Guess what? He didn’t end up in the hospital on a ventilator spitting his own blood on his chest. In fact, he had no breathing problems whatsoever. Did I mention he’s 77? And practiced all the mask and glove stuff? I know two handfuls of people who have been positive for covid-19 and almost all but my dad had ZERO symptoms. None. So, I am not frightened nor shamed by your scary blood spitting ventilator story. I’m pretty sure others who haven’t gulped down the fear hysteria yes-i-will-submit Kool-Aid aren’t shamed by your story either.

My 76 year old mom, who cared for him and still slept in the same bed with him? She didn’t catch it. And she didn’t even wear a mask!!!! How can that be?! I suspect that it’s likely she did catch it, but like the 15 other people I personally know who had it, she had no symptoms. That’s how NOT deadly and scary this virus is.

I have a friend with a similar experience, his 83 year old dad tested positive and came through it with symptoms akin to a mild cold. These idiots who gulp up the deadly virus narrative deserve to be called out for the idiotic garbage they regurgitate. Well done for calling out this fool and shooting him down in flames, about time someone took the gloves off.

We are all icky organic blobs.
Spouting contaminated bodily fluids and particles, from every orifice.
We are contagious, and risk killing everybody we cross paths with.
We are evil, and need to be restrained, beat-back, and muzzled.
We are toxic.

Sure : you're mentally tough, and you're ok with all of the masking.
But what about our many brothers and sisters, whom have mental-health issues, or are very sensitive ?
How does this all make them feel ?
Not for an hour, or a day, but for over 6 months now : being told they are dangerous and contagious ?

Also: Do you drive a car, Silicone Synapse? People get hit by cars and die and even cars hit other cars and people in them die. You should stop driving your car or riding in a car, because someone might die. ANY risk is no longer acceptable anymore, apparently. You know just be careful out there! I think that's a good point about people becoming careless because of their shiny new mask. Americans never wear masks so they have a lot of misconceptions about wearing them, which could cause carelessness and "mask shaming." What I don't understand is the general feeling here that wearing one is some kind of moral attack on par with shaming people for their faith, or a swipe at our freedoms. It's just not that deep.

I find it ridiculous as well. Not from your side though. I find it ridiculous how much trouble people have understanding that they aren’t to stop you from getting it. It’s to help prevent you from spreading it. I know this will fall on deaf ears and I’m sure there will be a few colorful comments but hey believe what you will.
