Could not reply to collaborative writing forum

It said "You had no permission to post in this forum"
Checked forum guidelines and there were no mention of permissions needed.

Any idea why this message?

Huh, all these years and I'm still learning things about this place.

Yes. You must have Writer Status to post in the Collaborative Writing forum.

As for why? So as not to disturb multiple writers collaborating on a thread when you were not invited to participate on that work. Hence the epic storylines, had working threads to discuss OOC where to go.

You can still do a collaboration in the Short Stories Forum if you want to do so.

Oh, and you will find you cannot post in the Debate Forum either, which requires Fighter Status.

And you cannot start a thread in the Hoax forum...but don’t feel bad, neither can I.
