Someone had asked if Micala Siler was the one found on the train tracks and I replied with my post. I'd read she was found in her office with BFT to her head.

Is that what you were asking?

ETA: While cleaning up this post, I did another search on her. This one resulted in articles stating that she was found dead outside (she'd been on a run) and also mentions the train...and looking for a man of interest. Most curious all the conflicting info.

8 days is weirdly specific to have prepped. It would mean the VP will test positive either today or tomorrow.

Is it just me, or is that a strange coincidence with Pelosi calling a 25th Amendment Commission today? In order for the 25th Amendment thing to work, the VP has to be integral, but what if the VP is incapacitated?

Now we have a telegraph that they expect Pence to be ill?

Everything you just said is 100% true - yet we still face the very real possibility that these people will win the Presidency, keep the House and retake the Senate. THAT is the F'ed up situation we find ourselves in, in this country today.

I am somewhat confident that Trump will win POTUS - not very confident that the Reps will hold the Senate, and have zero expectations that they will take the House. Its going to be a dogfight.

Thing is that if you feel like Trump will win POTUS, then those votes generally will travel down ballot. People don't tend to split their votes unless the local races go on local issues more than national ones.

Democrats were successful in many places by making the race a local issues race in the House in the off year. It remains to be seen if they're going to manage that feat again in a POTUS election year.

So what you're watching for in the Senate is how many Republicans are defending in purple/blue states. They have a problem.

For the House, it is as it always is, but the overall presidential race will color things more than it will on off years.

Bill Barr can’t do anything this close to the election because it could be deemed political.

However Nasty Pelosi can push for the 25th Amendment on the same day? Isn’t this political also?
