13 charged in plots against Michigan governor, police

LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Agents foiled a stunning plot to kidnap Michigan Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, authorities said Thursday in announcing charges in an alleged scheme that involved months of planning and even rehearsals to snatch her from her vacation home.

The six men charged in federal court plotted for months, consulting and training with members of a group that federal authorities described as a militia, and undertaking rehearsals in August and September, according to an FBI affidavit. They were arrested Wednesday night and face up to life in prison if convicted.

Four had planned Wednesday to meet to “make a payment on explosives and exchange tactical gear,” the FBI said in the court filing.

Looks like another case of a couple poor patsies getting conned by a team of FBI agents. I saw where they said this operation used "several" undercover agents and Confidential Sources. Sounds to me like the entire team was Feds, outside of the idiots who let themselves get set up.

All in an effort to make it seem like these guys were radicalized by Trumps words. Whitmer has already began this process by saying that Trumps Proud Boys "stand down, stand by" thing from the debates was a "call to action".

Really. According to polls, Biden is leading in Michigan by 10 points. So, why has the Biden campaign been spending huge amounts of money flooding our airwaves with campaign ads? That implies the opposite: either Michigan is in play, or Trump is actually in the lead.

Just like in 2016: Polls were saying Hillary had a huge lead in Michigan right up until the point Trump won the state.

I once knew a guy, He was running a snowplow business in the suburbs of Chicago. He had a kid that worked for him and I helped out from time to time. Well one night it snows about a foot and a half and we get called at 2am to come and plow. The kid shows up three hours late.His excuse? He got a flat tire. Well the owner immediately says BS And goes over iand checks the Lugnuts on the tires to see if they’ve been taken off . Needless to say the kids did not have a flat.

So suppose the Dems cheat on a massive scale, and Biden apparently “wins.”

But the cheating gets exposed. Electoral votes are questioned.

What’s going to happen?

First off, only part of the cheating will be exposed, because IMHO the Dems plan to cheat as much as they can, in as many ways as they can, in as many places as they can. Probably not just by the mail-in ballots. Not every bit of it is going to be caught.

Second, the Dems and the MSM will deny, deny, deny. “It didn’t happen; it wasn’t organized; it’s just a few isolated incidents, it’s just the Repub’s sour grapes.” The truth doesn’t matter unless it has consequences.

If the accusations manage to get required traction, the next question will be whether the cheating was enough to alter results or undermine the legitimacy of the election. Since some cheating goes on in every election, and all the cheating cannot be measured, that question cannot be answered accurately. What is the procedure for determining this?

So everyone screams at one another and maybe, just maybe, the debacle goes to the Supreme court. Where they do what? Order a do over? Decide who is the winner?

I don’t see any way the election will not end in vicious dissension unless Trump wins by such a landslide that it cannot be questioned. The cheating has to be stopped BEFORE it happens, not revealed after the fact. That ain't easy. It would be like preventing the kid in the above quoted story from lying. How do you do that?

And this doesn’t even consider the races for Congress and such.
