I'm still out here in Brampton, ON, in the belly of the COVID beast, going home tomorrow. My wife sent me the link to make an appointment for a test. Any advice on how I can get out of it? She insists I get tested. To me it's illogical because, I will be home in her space tomorrow night and, if I get an appointment, I won't get one until maybe a few days after that. By then, I could have spread my germs around and infected her and anyone else she comes in contact with after tomorrow if she catches it from me. My Lord, what a mess!

It was a political play. Republicans can say they put up TWO offers for stimulus while Dems refused both and gave no counter offer themselves.

That’s why stimulus died yesterday and Senate has a clear docket to focus on SCOTUS.

Dems AGAIN overplayed their hand and got burned. They were DO NOTHING on stimulus and it cost them in getting SCOTUS slammed through.

My wife is a nose raper. She has been working at the test facility since early on here in Alberta.
She has been telling me about all of the asymptomatic people coming in for tests and she can’t understand why.

I didn’t quite understand her point until I was required to get tested in order to return to work. I had a slightly sore throat, most likely from cleaning the dusty garage.

By the time I went for my appointment to get my test (2 days later) I felt fine... but talk about the belly of the beast!! Snotting kids everywhere and people coughing and sneezing. I never felt more exposed to the China virus than I did in the test centre!!

My advice would be to stay far far away from those places unless you are symptomatic or are in danger of not being able to go to work.

I hope Mrs Mason understands
