This reads to me like CDC is complicit. They wanted to keep the borders open to let COVID in.

Not only did the CDC release Cause Of Death Reporting Guidelines that allow for "presumed" cases to be counted as COVID deaths, and also report people who died of other causes but where infected with COVID which increase numbers.

They also got caught inflating COVID numbers by double counting.

Perhaps its why Trump administration ordered hospitals to bypass CDC in reporting COVID data

The CDC works for those who have a stake in it, namely those who can make money by controlling disease, not limiting it. They are not experts on individual disease prevention any more than the Federal reserve is an expert on personal finance. IOW, not at all.

Plus their name says it all: disease control (supposedly prevention, too, but... yeah, not really)

Don’t take health tips from an organization that needs diseases in order to exist.
