Grant Cameron has done some investigative work on people, especially children, who can be taught to see through blindfolds. He interviews 2 adults who report that after much hard work, they have also succeeded in doing so. Apparently those who have learned the technique using a blindfold find it does not work if they simply close their eyes, and vice versa. There are reports of the technique being taught in the East, but the Indian government has apparently banned the practise as "fraud". Grant feels the testable technique is a major breakthrough in consciousness studies & deserves a Nobel Prize.

If this is repeatable, it could have many applications - though, sadly, it seems not to work on those blind from birth, as they have no concept of what to look for.

I am at times able to see with closed eyes, & also "remote view", but it is not under my control. I have very poor eyesight which makes me think that perhaps one can really develop a different skill or sense to make up for what one is lacking.

It does remind me of out of body experiences. Few stories of patients looking down on there operations, even when flat lined. Can also hear events too. Some of those astral projection stories get a bit out there.

There are those people that can teach themselves to see like bats with echo location.
That's amazing.

This guy however?

He's as likely to get a Nobel prize as Uri Gellar.
