When the drug is used as directed, it works. When it's not used as directed, it doesn't work. Big revelation.

The bank generally won't take your house for a few missed payments. It's a huge hassle for them to foreclose on you and auction your house. If you encounter some kind of financial hardship, always call your creditors and ask them if they'll work with you on missing some payments or some kind of plan. They'll usually work with you because it's beneficial to them to do so.

Are they? I have a 30 year mortgage and the home's value has only gone up which means when I do sell I've made out on the deal. Try missing your property taxes and tell me what's worse to deal with, the government which is intractable or missing a mortgage payment and asking for a forbearance.
