The pistol was handed down to me, nobody will ever know that I have it. Same with the bullets. I've shot an AR and I didn't like it much. I have a few rifles already, and 2 shotguns, I just need a semi-auto pistol with a little kick.

In my state if someone enters your home illegally, you are allowed to shoot to kill, with no repreocussions to the home owner. They wouldn't last long here, considering I live in hunter territory.

I'd recommend a Gen4 Glock 23 then.

Down side: It's a .40 (but, you can still find ammo in that caliber). It's high pressure (so stay away from the 180gr bullets).

Plus side: It's concealable, it'll wallop anyone you hit, good capacity and very reliable.
