I’m a bit disappointed with ATS I asked a good solid question that happened to be humorous it wasn’t just a cheap fart gag. Whoever removed my
post was not thinking clearly. They assumed that because my post was about farts and kind of funny it must be only whimsical and insouciant however it
was a good inquisitive question about anthropology and evolution and it warrants some strait answers. If you still think its a stupid question then
what is the strait answer? Some objectivity please ATS.
My original post was as follows
Why didn’t cave men start fires with their farts?
So I’m being 96% serious... how useful would it have been and what just a synch away from practical feasibility would it have been? With the right
symbiotic intestinal bacteria producing hydrogen and methane all that is needed is a static spark maybe produced by the rubbing of a specially evolved
ass hair! What are the reasons why this didn’t happen, it being almost viable and so incredibly useful?
