Reporters told to leave (go outside)...Nobody knows what happened.

Yes.

Looks like Secret Service shot a perp. He's en route to the hospital. Outside of the White House fence, but apparently serious enough to interrupt a news briefing.

I'm thinking, after Trump's statement about not seeing him much for a while, there are some threats ongoing. Sounds like increased security concerns.

Trump seems to be taking it in stride, but he's not just brushing it off either.
