So Trump should have ignored states rights?
And the hundred or so other countries? They're all lying?
But whatever most of the world did seems to have been more effective than what we did.

So Trump should have ignored states rights?
Why not? He has "absolute authority" to make states open up not matter what. He can make schools open by threatening to withhold funding. States rights. Good one.
He could have offered leadership. A coherent policy. He did not, and still does not.
I guess the numbers from China are all correct.
And the numbers from Russia are good too.
You distrust the numbers from two countries. What about the rest of them?

No. You are.
Obfuscating again.
Unless you are saying that the president is not supposed to lead the country. That administration policy has no effect. But surely you're not saying that.

I suppose you're talking about the claims about what Redfield said? Maybe you should look at what he actually said.
If not, how much do you reckon that "inflation" affects the deaths/million figures? Seems it would have to be pretty extreme.

Governors. Governors had to approach the situation piecemeal because there was no national policy.
Mayors. Local authorities had to pick up the slack when governors failed.
No one carries the authority which the president does. The president has failed to provide any nationwide policy. He has failed to lead. Instead, in his insecurity, he sees it all as an attempt to "get him."
No. I'm saying that the federal government needs have a policy by which states can coordinate their efforts and know what to expect from the feds.
Is that what you're saying?
Because the minute he does that, you and everyone else will be making skid-marks in your tighty whiteys and screaming state rights.
"When somebody is the president of the United States, the authority is total," the president said. "And that’s the way it’s gotta be. It’s total."
