There are some good schools and teachers left.
But one has to look around to find them.

Truth.

I grew up in a smaller area with a lot of foreign students at the nearby university. My grade school friends were mostly White because the surrounding population was almost exclusively White or Native American. But because of that university, my close circle of friends also included a kid from Egypt, one from Turkey, and for a time, one Black kid. When I got to Jr. High I had some friendships with a few of the Native American kids.

I do have a question for the OP, what does this mean?

"we were making some kool-aid on a hot summer day and he told me that he was gonna teach me how to make it the right way, not like the white folks do."

Open the pack, pour it into the jug, add sugar and water, mix. What can you possibly do different?

Nope.
There is an art to making Kool-Aid.
1) Fill the pitcher about halfway with warm water
2) Add the packet and sugar.
3) Wait for a few minutes .
4) Start stirring
5) While stirring , fill pitcher to about 3/4 (maybe less) with cold water.
6) Put enough ice in the pitcher to finish filling pitcher
Enjoy.
For some reason , that tastes better .
I use the above method with iced tea as well .
I don't know if that is a "racial" based thing or not as the OP implied .
However , it is a well known old Southern way and may well be.

Ok, I obviously can't see the difference in the outcome from the different mixology.

Yeah, that makes sense.

I make what I call Ghetto-Aid. I make Kool-Aid and aid potassium and sea salt. Poor man's Gator-Aid basically. Tastes the same when you get the amounts just right.

More like liability, when they fail that one black kid whose full of potential with a short attention, an uses the race card when he in trouble.

All the while, everyone still has to pay taxes that they never taught in class, am the Asians have to do double the work or face dishonor which leads to death.

Wait a second, wasn't that stereotype!m

The truth that no one wants to address.

Our school system recently mailed out an update on their efforts, in conjunction with state protocols, to develop a set of options for parent during the 2020/21 'ReOpen' as they call it. As I was scanning down the list of measures and policies related to COVID, in the middle of this document is a bullet point to the effect of

" - Focusing on equity and social justice issues"

o_O

Fine, ok....but WTF does that have to do with preparing the school facility, staff and students for opening school back up!?

The terms "social justice" are, IMO, cheapened when they are injected into every single facet of life, every issue, even when it amounts to a non-sequitur.

As a parent, the school is providing me information about health and safety of my children regarding the pandemic. This is important information, and it's vital IMO to be clear and concise about how they plan on restarting public school system. When random, non-COVID related blurbs are put into a document like this, it muddles the message, and it is irritating, and it's not really making me really care about "focusing on equity and social justice issues"; it's making me ask WHY administrators feel that this topic is of equal importance to describing COVID safety measures.

Did I miss the memo? Is COVID considered racist? What does social justice have to do with how children will improve hygiene, distancing, how they will be transported, recess, lunch etc etc.

There is no other way to describe this messaging than indoctrination and propaganda. When authorities start putting verbiage like this into public health memos, you know that we are entering a new world order.
