Imo it looks like on of those high powered laser pointers..

Only I dont think they make yellow ones... i know the color is often off on cameras... is it actually yellow like that?

It's hard to tell. The video was shot on an older iPhone.
Might have a better indicater from the airports video.

Anyone can take a view and manipulate it to make a pretty convincing UFO videos.

Just like anyone can make a recording of a drone flying and claim its a UFO.

There are just so many possibilities these days as to what that might be recording before we jump to ET paying us a visit that these kind of videos are now pretty much useless and mean absolutely nothing.

And it doesn’t take a very convincing video for people that see what they want to see.

There are some pretty hefty fines for flying a drone that close to

Yup, I know.
I fly Drones for a Living at work.
That's all I do.

So I've already eliminated the possibility of it being a drone with a Lume Cube set up.
The manoeuvres vs the length of time the 3witnesses say the object was visible for, rules out drone.

If nothing shows up on the airports video footage,
Then I might go with LED kite.
Just need to find a good match

Probably just an airplane or helicopter, with the lights reflecting through clouds and/or the atmosphere.

This is ATS, where if there’s a slight chance it’s something normal, then that’s what it is 100% of the time..

Nothing on flight radar for that time period, and the airport manager checked the logs.
Last plane in was at noon that day.

Im hoping the airport cameras to have caught the entire event.
But, not counting on it.

Well, the Airport manager got back to me:

I checked our cameras at CYVD and did not see any light activity like in your video. I checked from 22:00 to 00:00 hrs local. Evening was heavy overcast, 500 to 1200 ft ceilings. At 23:00 fog started to move in. At 11:15 thick fog. At 23:30 could see end of rwy again. I'm presuming what this individual was seeing is South of our camera view.

The witness lives 2 km south of the airport, so the source of those lights are in between the both of them.

I'm thinking it's an LED kite.

It's too irregular of movement for it to be a drone, and up there for far too long.
Those manoeuvres, for the amount of time stated by the witness, would require more than a single Lith-ion battery.

But those moves are consistent with a double handelledl, led trick kite.

Am all for having a chat about UFOs but your quite obviously baiting me into a pointless argument. In fact I would relish some recon UFO chat on ATS.

Perhaps if there were buildings in the area.
This is a fairly remote town.
Not much in houses, let alone apartment buildings.

It's an aerodrome and miles and miles of fields.

Yes, definitely a human waving a torch. Could be standing on one of the branches of that tree. I would not classify this as a /flying/ object. Just my 2ct.
