China have more subs then US..
And I am sure they will be lurking near US coasts if things get heated.
And they will rain down nukes on all US major cities.

Sure, China will get dusted.. but US will to.
No one wins.

Yeah but they don't need to. All this mass media focus on China is about advertising to the hard core islamics like ISIS that a new front is needed and that is on the west of China. They are hoping that all this coverage will ignite a Jihad like seen in north Africa n/ Iraq / Syria / Yemens, it's a dead cert............................................................................

Show the 1.whatever billion muslims a on Planet earth a bit of TV footage of their bretheren getting totured, beaten, massacred, a few shots of Mosques being destroyed and BINGO
Jahadi's to start a new campaign ASAP

as well as all of the 'accidental' flooding going on.

In this case, it isn't accidental. It's incidental from heavy rain for the last 50 days or so. They've blown up some of their own dams to prevent flooding up river. But that only makes it worse for the towns and cities down river.

China knows that an all out shooting war with the US would be suicide for them.

China knows they made the parts for US military equipment

No need for war. If there is to be war then Chinese Communists will fire the first shots.

Simply isolate the Chinese Communists economically and diplomatically and destroy their influence networks domestically.

Which will most prob kill millions of innocent chinese men, women and children!

If their carrier is anything like their tech or trinkets, I don't think we have much to worry about

They steal a lot of research but their knockoffs are never as good as the real thing

Plus those idiots must not realize we have the detailed specs of the stolen IP they field

Short war. Whether the nukes fly or we use some previously unknown super weapon, our flag will be planted over a pile of CCP corpses in no time

We don't make tactical decisions based on those sort of metrics. Collateral damage is minimized by us more than any other country.

If they want to avoid that they should revolt now, kill some commies and take their own country back before we do it for them

Too late ....... too little. China has money now and they can play the game too.

First mistake was allowing them into WTO.

According to the Federation of American Scientists, the U.S. Navy always has at least four of its 14 Ohio-class SSBNs at sea and ready to quickly launch their missiles. Another 4-5 SSBNs can be quickly readied and put to sea with a full load of missiles.

Each SSBN has 20-24 silos for Trident D5 ballistic missiles. I’m not sure if every SSBN has had its silos reduced from 24 to 20 as agreed to in the 2010 START with Russia.

Each Trident has a range of more than 7,500 miles and can hold up to 8 x 455-kiloton individually targetable warheads, or 14 x 100-kiloton warheads. The bomb that destroyed Hiroshima had a 15-kiloton yield.

The warheads are highly accurate, able to hit within 90 meters of a target, which is rather unnecessary with a bomb equal to 455,000 tonnes of TNT.

Now imagine if nine Ohio-class subs positioned themselves 500 miles from China’s coastline, spread out equidistantly in an arc extending from just outside Vietnam’s territorial waters, extending between Taiwan and Luzon, and ending somewhere west of Kyushu and south of South Korea.

Nine Ohio-class subs with 20 missiles each could hit 1,440 individual targets in China with 455-kiloton warheads, probably within 30-60 minutes. Or they could hit 2,520 targets with 100-kiloton warheads. In reality, it would be a mix of 455- and 100-kiloton bombs.

China would cease to exist that quickly.

China’s nuclear deterrent is still small enough that a surprise first strike could possibly eliminate its ability to strike back. Its seven SSBNs are reportedly noisier than the Soviet-era Delta III SSBNs, which were easily trailed by U.S. nuclear attack subs without their knowledge. The U.S. Navy has 57 nuclear attack subs.

A Chinese army might have a systemic problem that arises from initial training , where no independent decision can be taken without fear of reprisals from above. The state between India and China apparently caused a lot more Chinese deaths than admitted to, and India didn't tell how many for fear of escalating things.

What? Take their own country back?

The way the U.S. has bastardized their cuisine and traditions along with stereo typing them, seems like they should be prepping for war, not us. I jest, but . . .

The local China Buffet restaurant has Chinese wait staff that barely speak English, and a Latino cook staff. I doubt that the fortune cookies are even from China. I suspect, other than the wait staff, that the only authentic Chinese thing about it is the COVID-19 virus that is going around town.
