The son of a federal judge in Newark, New Jersey, has been shot and killed, and her husband shot and injured in an attack at the family's home, according to law enforcement sources. The judge, Esther Salas, was not hurt.
Salas is the judge on the case against Deutsche Bank in regards to Jeffrey Epstein, Karimi v. Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft et al.
Judge Salas had received threats in the past, the sources said.
Authorities are investigating whether there is any connection between those prior threats and the shooting, or whether it possibly involved the husband's work as a criminal defense attorney.

Just read about this incident on Bloomberg.com; I had no idea about the connections of the Judge & what cases she has on the docket.
So the assailant was dressed.....as a FedEX driver?? REALLY?!?! WTF
Seems like a plot point out of Mission Impossible franchise.
It's just absolutely despicable, and I agree, it reeks of some involvement with the judge's work, HOWEVER, we have no idea at this point about the son's deeds or misdeeds. Owing the wrong people lots of money, getting in too deep in the narcotic or trafficking game, or otherwise associating with a crowd that doesn't particularly value human life, will all lead down a similar road.
That said, getting snuffed at your front door, and then having other members of your family harmed, seems a little out of the script for payback or sending messages, at least as it might pertain to the son himself.
Really odd, and really provokes questions.

America has pushed ‘egoism, unilateralism and bullying to the limit … and that’s not what a great power should be about’, Wang Yi tells Sergey Lavrov US has ‘resorted to extreme measures and even created hotspots and confrontations in international relationships’.

In May 2018, President Donald Trump announced his decision to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal because it was “defective at its core.” But if Tehran were willing to negotiate a better agreement, he would be “ready, willing and able” to join them.
Last week, Iran announced that it was ready for a new deal. Unfortunately, that deal would be with China, rather than the United States. And instead of curtailing Iran’s nuclear capabilities, the new agreement would establish a far-reaching economic and security partnership between the two nations.

I think he’s a clown as well, but what does any of that have to do with these shootings, this judge and Epstein?

The husband was also a criminal defense attorney and could have had a very pissed off client as well.

See? It could have nothing to do with Epstein. Everyone sees Epstein and they're like "Omg! Billionaires trying to cover up the criminal liberal pedo ring. These are the same guys that killed Epstein in prison and framed it as a suicide."
