Federal judge working on Deutche Bank case regarding Epstein attacked. Son killed

Reads like something out of a movie script. The alleged perp was dressed as a Fed Ex driver, shot the son point-blank when he opened the door. Her husband was also injured. Somebody sending a message?

The son of a federal judge in Newark, New Jersey, has been shot and killed, and her husband shot and injured in an attack at the family's home, according to law enforcement sources. The judge, Esther Salas, was not hurt.

Not sure what the hoped outcome would be; if one judge gets eliminated it’s not like the Fed is going to say “Oh, gee golly willicker, we’re going to have to end this investigation.”. There’ll just be another judge appointed.

I suppose it sends enough of a message that can spook everyone working on the case and maybe they won’t be so inclined to keep digging.

They’ll have to put security details on everyone working these Epstein cases.

Just read about this incident on Bloomberg.com; I had no idea about the connections of the Judge & what cases she has on the docket.

So the assailant was dressed.....as a FedEX driver?? REALLY?!?! WTF

Seems like a plot point out of Mission Impossible franchise.

It's just absolutely despicable, and I agree, it reeks of some involvement with the judge's work, HOWEVER, we have no idea at this point about the son's deeds or misdeeds. Owing the wrong people lots of money, getting in too deep in the narcotic or trafficking game, or otherwise associating with a crowd that doesn't particularly value human life, will all lead down a similar road.

That said, getting snuffed at your front door, and then having other members of your family harmed, seems a little out of the script for payback or sending messages, at least as it might pertain to the son himself.

Really odd, and really provokes questions.

Judge Salas had received threats in the past, the sources said.

Authorities are investigating whether there is any connection between those prior threats and the shooting, or whether it possibly involved the husband's work as a criminal defense attorney.

So many questions, going through getting someone dress as a FedEx delievery person doesn't sound like a neighborhood dispute for the boy, my guess organized crime, pretty sure they will be checking all her cases current,past and upcoming. The Epstein could be a side note or the whole enchilada. Reminds me of the district attorney in PA getting whacked and his laptop thrown in a river.

Being a Judge can be a tough job, death threats are common. Throw in a big pile of cash and some may be more motivated to act on such threats.

Some parts of the world have a poor record with judges and other public officials who look into high levels of corruption. For some that give Q a hard time for not moving fast enough, issues like these are part of the problem.

Oh im watching the best show on earth, where the leader of the free world has a drug addiction problem, he used to attend epsteins sex parties and he by all account's snorts "adderall" and has done for years and I guess you never noticed that when the lights are blazing in his face his eyeballs are dilated in the photographs.. hope that clears things up for you..
