Why America needs the draft again

Or as the Brits call it National Service on the other side of the pond you call it conscription or the draft , Tomatoes Tomatoes !,

With the way our respective countries are tearing themselves apart at this present time in history it would be a good way to integrate the youth of today and install some values in them that would last a life time and then some , The USA and the UK are both going down the toilet because of a lack of respect for the Flag and our elders and our surroundings which were bought and paid for in blood .

Hood rats in London or Chicago it is all the same ,Death and destruction and some one benefits from all the chaos that ensues be it drug lords or undertakers they all have a share in it including police and politicians and it keeps lawyers in work




Time to get old school again or it will get like south America in North America with the deaths and cheap drugs and gun parts appearing in your cities

The gentlemen i respected in my life and who taught me things all did National service /conscription and talked fondle of it . we have infrastructure that is falling apart and a youth that is fat and lazy and needs a good shake up the ass , Girls do girls stuff like nursing for a 2 year period and boys do boy stuff like learn to build not blow up

Just do it like Israel does it. Everyone serves. Though I'd say that everyone should just do mandatory military training aka boot camp so that you are trained in the event that we go to war. Not that you will actually be serving just training. With very few exceptions.

There are somewhere around six or seven soldiers in support roles of the ones pulling triggers.
Even if they can’t handle the physical demands of the front lines they can drive trucks, cook, fly...etc..

Yip fix the country ,boys do 6 weeks of PE then a trade if they are worth it or on to collage you know old school , girls do medicine

National Service is fine.

Put them in training and on reserve component. Training can be performed in HS and specialized training can be performed at a training facility already in service for such training. That way everyone who qualifies enters college age with military training and trade education via MOS qualification.

I look at the number of knobheads around nowadays and their complete lack of regard and respect for anything or anyone, their selfish attutude, lack of passion and originality, their sense of entitlement and snowflake hyper sensitivities and I know that sometihng urgent and drastic has to be done.
I don't see why a year or two of National Service wouldn't help prevent this slide.

We also have stop the politically correct nonsense that is increasingly affecting every aspect of our society.

I really do despair at times.

But a draft is not needed to "put out the fire".
A draft is a last resort measure.
Not a band aid because congress is doing a poor job.

Yip pick the best 20 % off for the military the the rest become captains of industry or go on to lead a better life than they would normally do in the world that they live in now .

4 decades ago i was asking my teachers the same question , why do we not have national service , unlike most EU countries we have gone to crap like America since this stopped , I was drummed out of the parachute regiment because i would not call someone SIR it was always MR or Sargent with me

My school friends became teachers at the SAS and SBS i became a tradesman but a good one

God yes... but can we wait till I retire in about 14 months..

We need more kids to get out of the nation for a bit and realize everything they are whining about are first world problems and there are a lot of people in the world that think our dirt poor are rich.

That doesnt mean we cant do it better but we are doing pretty bloody good up to this point.
