Why are you so invested in Hydroxychloroquine when there are so many other promising trials? Is it because Trump promoted it?

35c per serve! Everyone can afford it which is why Big Pharma hates it.

But Pheonix, if the drug is not effective, or in some cases proven harmful, why promote it? The price is irrelevent at this point. You're giving people false hope at this point, and unprofessional advice. It could be damaging.

Ok, stupid question here.
Why is this such a big deal?

When I get sick I go to the doctor or hospital.
The professionals there diagnose and treat me with whatever they deem appropriate.

I don't understand how this drug became such a hot topic after the president mentioned it at a press conference as a possible treatment.

Actually read and understand the sources you cite . Here’s a post of mine on the study you quoted from Brazil .

The evidence has been piling up for sometime now that this drug is no silver bullet:

Brazilian chloroquine study halted after high dose proved lethal for some patients

You have absolutely no understanding on how that Brazilian study was conducted. Because of the parameters for selecting the subjects . You read a headline and bought it hook line and sinker .

This is from a previous post of mine .

There’s a study from Brazil that was terminated early. With the media claiming it was bad news for the drug.

Again more disinformation.

It too was only tested in serious cases The protocol for testing was that they must be on deaths door, some of them were unconscious and some were even in shock.

They closed the study because the higher dose was killing the seriously ill patients. On page 4 they said that testing on patients that are seriously ill is urgently needed.

Source

Let me ask you a question do you think people are more likely to die in a drug trail if they were registered while unconscious or in shock from being on deaths door because of low blood oxygen saturation ?

To say the odds were stacked against hydroxychloroquine in that study . Is like saying Charles Manson had a slight attitude problem and poor impulse control .

If you would’ve read the actual trial I supplied instead of me title you want to believe. You would’ve said oops I can’t use that study it’s obviously slanted and misrepresented .

Since so many are discrediting it: maybe it does work ?

Hydroxychloroquine has been used as an effective treatment for malaria, since 1955, and rheumatoid arthritis and lupus for some time as well.

So was it big-pharma shilling us for 65 years that it was good, when it was really bad: or are they shilling us now by saying it's bad for us now: so as to sell us much more profitable treatments ?

Historically: they seem to have a poor relationship with honesty, and what is best for Humanity.
They do real well for their shareholders though !

Trump also thinks regular excercise reduces your life expectancy. Do with that info what you will.

Enough studies exist to show the benefits.

I am not giving people false hope nor am I giving unprofessional advice.

Your advice is damaging to anyone that accepts it.

The PLANdemic again... seems like many people suffer from coronavirus way more than the ones who have actually had it.

Hydroxy... what?

Eat huge loads of raw garlic. It has plenty of benefits, one regarding this, is that it will strengthen your immune system. AND people will automatically socially distance themselves from you due to your breath.

As with Care others, you state this, but you don't source it.

Not 100% familiar with the Brazilian study but I know this study I've reference, the most recent, is the most comprehensive yet.

By the way, you need to administer Zinc with it to increase effectiveness.

There's no need. Zinc is thus far speculated to supplement the effectiveness of the drug, and it is recommended for further testing. It's not proven, it's not conclusive, the facts of the OP still stand.

Once there is a conclusive study on the above, come back to us, otherwise we're just splitting hairs at this point.

There are studies that show it does moderately help when used in conjunction with zinc supplementation...better than the zinc alone. It does not work well if the disease has progressed too far, neither do the other ones they have deemed to be a legitimate treatment, lowering recovery among those who just got the virus by four days does not mean it will successfully treat the disease covid 19

I know lots of ways to actually help to keep this disease under control based on the natural product science the medicines are designed from. I stock this kind of chemistry already. I just bought a bottle of birch syrup to try, it does need to be put into a hot totti to be effective though, it needs to be combined with alcohol. It is a medicine which can help with lots of health conditions, it does not need to be consumed every day. I also have chaga in the cupboard. I love grapefruit and also like onions and of course the quinine in coffee. Kind of allergic to kiwi, but I keep bromelain pills on the shelf...both of these will destroy the viral enzyme that it uses to get access to our cells.

I do see evidence that quinine products can help somewhat, but if they cherry pick the patients to prove Trump wrong, they can make it look less effective than it is. It is not a miracle medicine, just another tool that a doctor can use sometimes. They made up stuff to try to show it was worse than nothing, real scientists challenged that evidence and proved it was a hoax even though it was put onto a good sight, it was made up evidence. Someone paid someone to blast hydrochloroquine, probably a competing pharma company.

This is essentially standard operating procedure at this point.

Clips, headlines, and hope nobody reads the actual sources or questions how they were done.
