President TRUMP Re-Election Endorsed by U.S. Association of Police - Biden Assumed He Would Get It.

This endorsement is not surprising to those who have been monitoring and comparing the reactions of President Trump, against Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden, during the public unrest occurring across the country this year.

The National Association of Police Organizations endorsed President Trump’s reelection Wednesday, citing his “steadfast and very public support” for law enforcement.

In a brief letter to Mr. Trump, a copy of which was obtained by The Washington Times, NAPO President Michael McHale said the president’s support was critical in the wake of the attacks on law enforcement following the death of George Floyd.

The president’s outspoken public praise of law enforcement appreciated “during this time of unfair and inaccurate opprobrium being directed at our members by so many,” said Mr. McHale.

“We particularly value you directing the Attorney General to aggressively prosecute those who attack our officers,” he wrote.

Contrast the above with what top law enforcement officials are saying about candidate Joe Biden..

The decision to side with Mr. Trump this year delivered a blow to presumed Democratic presidential nominee Joseph R. Biden, who prides himself on being a “union man” and longtime ally of police.

“Biden seems to have abandoned the police and his support for the police because it is not popular to support the police at this time,” said Paul DiGiacomo, president of the Detectives’ Endowment Association, the second-largest labor union representing New York City Police Department officers.

“I think police officers and associations look at Joe Biden today, and it’s hard not to contrast the candidate today with the senator of 15 or 20 years ago,” said Bill Johnson, executive director of NAPO. “Mr. Biden, like a lot of candidates, moved to the left party during the primaries, but once it was clear that he was going to be the nominee, he didn’t stop.”

The National Association of Police Organizations is comprised of more than 1,000 police unions across the country.

In 2016, the NAPO did not endorse Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.

But in 2008 and 2012, the Association endorsed the Obama-Biden team. Candidate Joe Biden was anticipating their endorsement this year, ahead of the November election. But as law enforcement officials are saying, candidate Biden has moved too far to the "Left". They feel he has abandoned them.

Even disregarding everything that has transpired since 2016, this endorsement alone is reason enough for me to vote Biden.

You can tell by what Joe Biden says in interviews that the official stuff coming out of his campaign is not from his mind.

During interviews, when the interviewer goes off-script, is when you get the real Biden. The Biden who is just a shadow of his former self.

I endorse President Trump because I like keeping my job and income, keeping my retirement savings, having low taxes, keeping my rights of self defense, and the focus on the US economy instead of continuing the cycle of making the US a 3rd world country.

What does Biden offer me?

Higher taxes - check
Gun control and rollback of self defense rights - check
Continued leftest social insanity expansion - check
401 K confiscation for the promise of increased social security - check
Return of insane regulations and driving business out of the US - check
Promotion of Green New Deal which will send energy prices sky high and cripple domestic production - check

I was kind of joking. However, I don't think they should be endorsing any politcal candidate. The police, by and large, already had the support of Trump and his voter base. This feels like an unnecessary move that will just divide us further.

And before you ask, yes, it's complete BS that they endorsed Obama back in the day, too.

Maybe a national database of Biden voters will be compiled and used by various entities to identify who is "low priority", when certain calls for help come in.

The liberal media is doing their best to hide this Police Organization's endorsement of Trump. When they endorsed Obama-Biden in 2008 and 2012, it was MOSTLY because of Joe Biden being so "tough" on crime. All the "establishment" Democrats expected that Biden would receive the endorsement again.

I bet now, Biden will go even further left, and call for abolishing I.C.E..

Didn't Biden offer up a fund to bail out rioters and looters? Those same rioters and looters that were claiming to be peaceful protesters because of BLM? The very same BLM that has been screaming about defunding police. The same BLM that was walking up and shooting officers in their patrol vehicles just a few short years ago?
