President Xi Launches Historic Purge Against China's 'Deep State'

WSJ reports that one of Xi's most senior allies has called for a Maoist purge of China’s domestic-security apparatus, insisting last month that it is time to “turn the blade inwards and scrape the poison off the bone.”

Within one week of the call, party "enforcers" launched investigations into at least 21 police and judicial officials. Dozens more have been taken down in the weeks since. So far, the most high-profile figure to face charges is the police chief of Shanghai.

In essence, President Xi, who won plaudits for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic but is nevertheless weakened due to China's weakened economy and rising tensions with Washington, is launching his own assault on the deep state, mirroring President Trump's animosity and distrust toward his own intelligence machine.

While it's true that China's political system suffers from "endemic corruption", that's not the real reason President Xi is doing this now, contrary to what some western media outlets have suggested.

Instead, it appears President Xi is launching his own war against China's "deep state" by launching a full-blown purge of the state security apparatus.

Thank you for bringing this up - originally by the way the memo was worded it sounded as though it was the lab testing itself that was the issue considering the military was willing to accept recruit that were confirmed or failed by temp/symptom screening processes.
It looks like they have revised this listing but I’m still skeptical about being tested myself. I meant to ask you all your thoughts on this in May but never did.

Again as I have stated before . I get that . I also get that you have to start somewhere and that prosecuting a corrupt system is not a fast or easy by the book thing.

However, I also don't dismiss that we have swamp creature leading the charge. Nor that Key people that can expose the corruption have been suicided under the DOJ or gone after criminally , and the same doj has gone with the MSM narrative on key killings.

So I question some of the actions that have been taken along with the people that are being brought in. I also get that using swamp insiders is mandatory as enemy warfare and setting up false information and hunts is part of the game. However, I question the number of swamp creatures that are still around and still in key positions. So Im not sold on the prospect of justice being served at the end.

Again I hope more than anyone that I'm wrong. Also no doubt there is and has a hidden war being played out behind the scenes , but not sold on the new management being the savior they are being made out to look like.

The coup failed. The AG and his multiple US Atty’s are tasked with cracking that caper. If they crap the bed, it reflects on them. Not Trump.
